Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile and considering me to watch your babe(s). I initially found out about Rover from looking for a sitter for my dog (8 lb papillon) because he had never been boarded and his usual sitter was not available. It then got me into wanting to pet sit for others and offer other pets the same comfort I wanted for my dog and offer you the peace of mind knowing I am treating them as my own! I know it is hard to trust just anybody and you want your dog or cat to feel safe and comfortable while you are away; I make sure to send pictures and updates daily so you know how their stay is going (and how spoiled they are getting). My goal is to make it so you can fully enjoy your vacation and your pet feels like they are on one too! I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life (and a whole other array of animals - guinea pigs, lizards, birds, etc.)...I also have fostered and volunteered at shelters but have found it really hard to not adopt them all, so this is the best of both worlds. I can take care of your puppy all the way up to your senior. Whether you need a 30 minute walk, someone to come over for a potty break and belly rubs, or dog boarding, I will be happy to spend my day(s) giving your pet the attention they need! I work as a freelance court stenographer and work from home many days so I have a pretty flexible schedule. If you have any questions, please ask. Sarah was amazing with our dog Hadley! Hadley had a wonderful time making new friends. Sarah sent us updates and pics every day of their adventures.
We had a great experience with Sarah and will definitely use her again. She took great care of my senior dog, understood his various particular needs including medication, and provided the calm environment he needed to have an enjoyable time away.

Sarah is the third Rover sitter that we have left our Yogi with, and she is now our favorite! I waited a little longer than I had planned to find care for our dog over Thanksgiving weekend, so I was a bit worried about finding the right fit. Yogi is good with other dogs, but she prefers dogs that don't really want to interact with her too much, so I wanted to find a sitter that only takes 1 dog at a time. I ended up finding Sarah, who has a sweet dog about Yogi's age. She lives near us, too, so it was a great match. She sent me pictures and updates every day, and it looked like Yogi was having the BEST time! I even received a photo on Thanksgiving of Yogi wearing a turkey headband that had me laughing hysterically - brilliant! They went on walks every day, and Sarah even took Yogi to the beach, which is one of her favorite places in the whole word even though she acts like a lunatic when she's there. Yogi and Miles (Sarah's dog) seemed to get along well, too. To top it all off, Sarah even offered to bring Yogi back to us when we returned from our trip which was incredibly helpful after traveling all day with an 8.5 month old. Sarah will be our first choice for all of our future Rover needs, and she should be your first choice too!
Sarah took care of my two high energy pups for the day-she was fantastic. She has great energy and is an animal lover. She communicated with me all day & gave me updates/pics. Couldn’t have felt better about the experience with Sarah. I will definitely be using her again.

Schedule
I work from home. The only time they will not be snuggled up next to me while I work is if I am in a conference call but this is never more than a few hours.

I’ve grown up with dogs so I know that every dog is different. If your dog is an escape artist, chews things, tries to get into the trash, you know your dog better than I do….so the more information the better. My entire goal is to make sure your fur baby is staying safe and no one has any surprises.

A typical day
This all depends on what your dog is used to. If your dog is used to a walk a day then I will make sure they get out to get their legs stretched. Even the best dogs that people say are good off leash I do not want to take any chances that your little muffin decides I am not their pack leader and they don’t want to come to me so I will not do anything off leash.
