We host one dog family at a time
Hi! We have a dog-loving home built especially for senior dogs and gentle companions. We host only one family of dogs at a time, so your pup(s) will always get calm, focused attention and plenty of affection. We work from home, which means constant companionship, cuddles, and care throughout the day. Our house has a sunny, comfortable backyard and lots of natural light indoors, and we are just steps from a trail system for relaxed strolls or longer walks depending on what your dog enjoys. We understand how important it is to feel completely at ease when you’re away—our family has a 14-year-old Border Collie that we got when she was 4 months old, and her comfort, safety, and happiness with her own “Rover family” when we travel means everything to us. Sarah and Clay are an absolute delight! My dog was exhausted after a weekend with then which is a great indicator that he was well loved and taken care of with them. Communication was excellent, they sent pictures and updates along the way. Absolutely would book with the again!
Sarah and Clay are truly the sweetest people! They were incredibly kind, understanding, and accommodating with Rizzo’s medical condition after she had been in an accident. They went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable, safe, and well cared for. They were so attentive to her specific needs, sent great updates, and were always easy to communicate with. They’re just genuinely kind, down to earth, and trustworthy people, which made me feel completely at ease leaving Rizzo with them. They also have a great backyard for the dogs and a trail nearby. I’m so grateful I found Sarah and Clay and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for wonderful pet sitters!
Sarah, Clay and their family took the best, loving care of our sweet pup. Their wonderful kids and older dog made sure that she felt right at home. The daily updates and photos made our separation so much easier. We are so grateful to have met them and look forward to the next time we have to leave town, knowing our dog will be in such caring hands.
Sarah and her family show so warmth and gentleness in how they care for their animals and my own. There is so much attention to detail in how they get to know the quirks and personalities of each animal and learn what each one needs. I have often worried about leaving my pet when going out of town, and it gives me so much peace of mind to know that I can trust Sarah and her family to look after him with such high quality of care.
I love Sarah’s calm demeanor and attentiveness. She has a natural, easygoing way of nurturing that immediately puts both people and pets at ease. It’s obvious that she truly enjoys caring for her family and the animals in her home. Every pet receives plenty of love, attention, and individualized care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. Schedule
We intentionally keep dog sitting limited so it fits naturally into our work-from-home schedules. The days in our home already have a steady rhythm, which makes it easy to include regular check-ins, potty breaks, walks, and quiet rest time throughout the day.

We like to do a meet-and-greet so that you can see our home and meet us. We also offer a half- price day of doggy daycare so that we can get to know your dog(s) and they can feel comfortable in our home before you leave them the first time.
Pets
A typical day
We live on Big Dry Creek Trail and there are miles of paved and dirt paths right out the door. My husband and I love getting outside and walking our dog. We’d like to take your dog for long (or short!) walks too. Our teenagers love snuggling up with the pups we sit for during family movie nights.
