Hi there! My name is Sarah, and I've lived with dogs my entire life. I've worked both in a boarding facility, as well as offering boarding and Residency Training Programs out of my home. I've worked as a professional dog trainer for the last six years, and have experience with many types of dogs! My home is a great spot for your pup to stay. There are no stairs, decks, or dangers here, so your dog can be sure to have a safe vacation with us! Our backyard is fully fenced, and pups are always supervised during potty and playtime outdoors to make sure they stay safe and have lots of exercise. While your dog visits, you can be sure that he or she will get lots of personal love and attention. We have a sunny, comfortable front room where your pup will sleep and spend any alone time. During the day, guest dogs are welcome to hang out in the living room and kitchen area to get plenty of attention and loving! We will also go for at least two 20-30 minute walks each day around my neighborhood and in our park behind the house. If you choose, your pup is welcome to have supervised playtime outside with our resident dogs (who love to play with guests!). Your dog will have a fabulous time here with us, with lots of love, attention, and time to play. I can't wait to meet you!

Sarah watched our dog many times over the past few years and it was always excellent. Sarah is very flexible and available, which helped us during several emergency situations. While living away from home and family, we always had peace of mind with Sarah and our dog became part of her pack! A good sign is when your dog is excited to go to the sitter, and ours always was. We highly recommend Sarah, and will miss her!

Sarah is simply the best. She cares for Sophie so well and Sophie is happy when she is there. Sarah sends us pictures while we’re gone. I love that.

A typical day
While your dog is here, you can be sure that he or she will get a lot of love and attention! Where we take our walks: We live in a quiet residential neighborhood, with a beautiful park right across the street from our backyard. We love to take walks in the early morning or in the evening, to make sure that your dog doesn't get too warm while we exercise. You can also expect that your dog will get plenty of playtime and exercise in our fully fenced in backyard. You can choose if you'd like your pup to be a part of a playgroup with our resident dogs, or if you'd prefer for them to just play with the people instead! Where your dog will sleep: Unfortunately, with a young child in the house, your dog will not be able to sleep in our bed. However, we have plenty of space in our front room with a big, comfortable dog bed, or a crate if you prefer. You are more than welcome to bring your dog's crate from home, or the bed that they are most comfortable in and familiar with. During the day: Most of the time, when your dog is not outside playing or going for a walk, you can expect your pup to be hanging out in the house with us, or resting comfortably in the front room. You'll probably get more than a couple of pictures of your dog relaxing with us, or sleeping in the sun by the window!

- Tell me everything you can think of! The more that I know about your dog, the better able I will be to make their stay comfortable and happy. I always appreciate a copy of your dog's vaccination records, as well as a quick list of care guidelines for your dog. We accept all dogs here, from little puppies to older senior dogs. I have extensive experience helping dogs with behavioral troubles and anxiety, so if your dog has some special requirements, please let me know and I'm confident that we can be a great fit! I do ask that your dog be actively using a flea and tick preventative, beginning at least a week before your stay begins. That way we know that both your dog and mine are protected.
