I am currently pet sitting full-time so I will be able to take care of your pets at any time (schedule permitting). This allows me to respond quickly and without a lot of notice needed. My partner, John, is also supporting our pet care business and available to help!

I will follow all clients instructions for pet care and safety! Unless the client ask specifically, I will avoid your pet meeting other dogs to avoid any issues. I also love to keep your dog or cat company if they get separation anxiety or lonely.

Would be great to know how social they are before hand and how active. Any medication or special considerations? I have experience with reactive dogs so would be good to know if your dog or cat has any triggers.
A typical day
I would make sure to check with the owner to see what the dog and cat is comfortable doing. Depending on the answer, I think long walks in parks, hikes, and playing with toys are great activities for dogs.

Cat care experience
I have such a special place in my heart for my kitty clients. My love of cats began when I adopted for my first orange tabby when I was 12 years old. I am so grateful that I get to spend my time with animals as a job full-time. When it comes to the care of cats, I always enter the home with calm energy. I love to encourage positive interactions with treats and play but also respect the boundaries of cats that may be a bit shyer. I also understand the importance of cleanliness for both the litter box and their food / water bowls. I think it is important to follow ALL instructions from my clients, and always come to the meet and greet with questions and take notes to make sure all care needs are followed.

Sara took such good care of our cats while we were away. They can be very shy but she was able to give them cuddles and attention at each visit - we were both impressed and very grateful.
I recently moved to Old Lyme and needed someone I could trust with my cats. From the moment I met Sara, I felt at ease, especially when my very shy 13-year-old cat instantly loved her (which never happens!). I had a completely worry-free week and loved the photo updates. Will definitely be booking again!
