Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I’ve built flexibility into my schedule around my Army Reserve commitments, operating my BabyQuip business, and completing my master’s degree. My schedule allows me to provide dependable walks, drop-in visits, feedings, playtime, and companionship throughout the week. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so dog walks and pet visits fit very naturally into my lifestyle. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening visits, I truly enjoy caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always prioritize safety, trust, and keeping your pet comfortable within their normal routine and environment. I understand how important it is for pets to feel secure while their owners are away, so I strive to provide calm, dependable, and attentive care during every visit. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, leash handling, and household preferences. I make sure pets have fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and companionship while also respecting the client’s home and privacy. I pay close attention to animal behavior, energy levels, and surroundings to ensure pets remain safe both inside and outside the home. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a quieter approach, I adjust my care style to fit their individual personality and needs. Communication is also very important to me, so I provide updates and photos whenever possible to help owners feel comfortable and connected while away from their pets.

Information Sara B. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your pet, I appreciate knowing any important details that help keep them safe, comfortable, and happy. This can include their daily routine, feeding schedule, energy level, favorite activities, potty schedule, leash behavior, medications, allergies, fears or anxieties, and how they interact with other animals or people. I also like to know about any special commands, house rules, escape tendencies, triggers, or anything that helps me better understand your pet’s personality and needs. The more information you provide, the better I can create a positive, stress-free experience for your pet while you’re away. Every animal is different, and I truly enjoy taking the time to learn what makes each pet feel most comfortable and cared for.

A typical day

A typical visit is centered around keeping pets happy, active, comfortable, and maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. Depending on the pet’s personality and energy level, activities may include walks around the neighborhood, playtime at the park or backyard, fetch, tug-of-war, enrichment games, or simply relaxing together with plenty of attention and affection. For more active dogs, I enjoy incorporating longer walks, light hikes, or extra outdoor time whenever appropriate. For calmer or senior pets, I focus more on companionship, gentle walks, cuddles, and creating a stress-free environment. During drop-in visits, I also make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, receive potty breaks, and get plenty of love and interaction while their owners are away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, cared for, and excited for our time together.

Pet care experience

I’ve had a love for animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, goats, and more. Being around animals has always been a natural part of who I am, and I understand firsthand how important pets are to their families. Their safety, happiness, and comfort always come first with me. I recently returned from a temporary leave of absence while serving on military mobilization and am excited to reopen my schedule for dog walking and drop-in visits. My lifestyle is very active, and I enjoy long walks, hiking, yoga, and spending time outdoors — making me a great fit for energetic pups who love extra activity and attention. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, companionship during the day, feeding, playtime, medication support, or a long walk to burn energy, I’m happy to help. I treat every animal like family and strive to make both pets and owners feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. I’m available for reliable daytime or evening visits and would love the opportunity to care for your fur babies. Please feel free to message me with any questions!

We love Sara. Betsy doesn’t leave her side. Photos galore and comforting Betsy during storms. We are also so grateful that Sara serves in our military. Thank you Sara for everything!

Sara is awesome! Our dogs are so excited to see her when she arrives. She has house sat for our 2 beagles a couple of times and we would love for her to sit for us in the future. We feel so comfortable knowing she is home taking care of our babies. She sends great updates and takes care of anything needed/asked, including our multitude of supplements we give our dogs.

Sara has become part of our family. Betsy loves her and receives Sara’s utmost attention with cuddles, walks and rides. Betsy has become more anxious as she ages and its a relief to have a sitter who keeps her calm and happy. We came home to a clean house, bedding and towels. Sara even had to deal with sheltering Betsy and herself in the closet during a tornado warning last evening. Thank you Sara!

Sara was hands down the best we have used off Rover. She showed up promptly as discussed left the best messages and pictures on the cards and loved our pups as her own ! I usually have such anxiety leaving our pups so we take less trips due to this but we trusted her reviews and she did not disappoint!! We will forever use Sara as long as she is on Rover ! I would even plan my trips around her availability to make sure she was the one watching our pups ! Thank you Sara for your great care you took of our pups you are the best !!
