Taking a walk on the bright side!
Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :(

IMPORTANT: As per Rover’s Terms of Service, please note that I cannot share private contact details or accept methods of payment outside of Rover. This is for the safety and security of all parties involved. When out on a walk, I will make sure your friend is kept safe and away from hazards or things they may be uncomfortable with. When dropping in for a visit, I will make sure their needs are met and everything is secured for their safety. They would never be left unsupervised, and they'll get lots of love and playtime! I will gladly send photos and text updates upon request. Please do let me know your communication frequency preferences, so I don't accidentally disturb you with messages!

Sam was great with my two dogs. Very attentive and and communicative.
I cannot recommend Sam enough, she truly went above and beyond with our 2 dogs, sent pictures and updates everyday, kept the house in order and mostly made sure the dogs were happy and comfortable in their own space. Will definitely be using Sam again abs again!
Samantha was great. Her communication was consistent. The dogs really liked her. Even my little one, who is very afraid of new people, warmed up to her right away.
Sam did a great job with our dogs! Sent photos and kept me up to date on everything. She was very responsible. I appreciate having her be with my dogs overnight.

Schedule
Currently, I am working full-time at an elementary school in Minooka. As I share similar hours with our students, my availability Monday through Friday will only be after 3:30pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I will update my schedule as soon as anything changes. If you have any questions regarding my schedule for a particular day or week, please don’t hesitate to message me!
