Currently, I am working full-time at an elementary school in Minooka. However, school is out for the summer until August, so I will be manually updating my Rover schedule to provide some availability Monday through Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I will update my schedule as soon as anything changes. If you have any questions regarding my schedule for a particular day or week, please don’t hesitate to message me!

IMPORTANT: As per Rover’s Terms of Service, please note that I cannot share private contact details or accept methods of payment outside of Rover. This is for the safety and security of all parties involved. When out on a walk, I will make sure your friend is kept safe and away from hazards or things they may be uncomfortable with. When dropping in for a visit, I will make sure their needs are met and everything is secured for their safety. They would never be left unsupervised, and they'll get lots of love and playtime! I will gladly send photos and text updates upon request. Please do let me know your communication frequency preferences, so I don't accidentally disturb you with messages!

Before booking a service, I recommend a meet & greet first. This way we can be familiarized with one another, and we can determine if your dog and I are a good match. It is not required, but I'd like to make sure everyone will be comfortable with the arrangement. If possible, please provide your pup's care instructions so I have a clear understanding of your expectations, and can make sure their needs are properly met. It will also help to know any of the following: -What is their eating routine? How much food do they get per meal? -Do they have any allergies or health issues? -Are they allowed on furniture? -Are they allowed treats? -What are their favorite activities or toys? How do they like to spend their time? -What is their energy level? -Do they get worried or anxious when alone? -Do they have any fears? For example: fireworks, thunderstorms, cars, or bikes. -How do they get along with other pets or people? -What commands/cues do they respond to, if any? -Are they crated or kept in a certain room when no one is home? -Is there a favorite place they like to go for walks? Are there any places you'd like us to avoid? -Do they like to pull on their leash? Please let me know of any special needs, routines, or even behaviors I can account for, in order to help your friend feel comfortable and safe in my care.

We'll have a lot of fun together! From leisurely walks to visiting places such as a local park, or playing fetch, a puzzle game or even just playing with squeaky toys or a tug rope. Depending on what your dog normally likes to do, I'll be happy to share those activities with them, or take them on a new adventure!

Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :(

I cannot recommend Sam enough, she truly went above and beyond with our 2 dogs, sent pictures and updates everyday, kept the house in order and mostly made sure the dogs were happy and comfortable in their own space. Will definitely be using Sam again abs again!
Samantha was great. Her communication was consistent. The dogs really liked her. Even my little one, who is very afraid of new people, warmed up to her right away.
Sam did a great job with our dogs! Sent photos and kept me up to date on everything. She was very responsible. I appreciate having her be with my dogs overnight.
Samantha did a great job of taking care of our almost 11 year old Zeus! We had some drop in visits and Samantha sent us notes and photos of her time with Zeus. We were very happy and highly recommend.
