While I was working full-time, I had the opportunity to hire a dog walking service. In a very short time I noticed a vast improvement in the behavior and quality of life of my dogs. When my 14-year-old Belgian Malinois and his buddy, a Chocolate Lab, crossed the rainbow bridge several years ago I deeply missed the extra love and company. As a former caregiver and hospice care worker, I have spent many years caring for the four-legged family members of my patients, as well as many of my family, friends and coworkers. Not only do I love animals but I love exercise and being outdoors- yes, even out in the cold, snow and wind! I have had the pleasure of caring for dogs, cats, birds, chickens and goats!
