When visiting your home, I will make sure to treat your space with the utmost care and respect. I will make sure your pet is fed, that they haven’t had any accidents, and will spend some quality playtime with them. I can help administer any medications they may have and can take them on walks or let them outside for some fun playtime!!

In order to make sure your pet and I are the best fit for each other, please let me know about any special needs or behaviors your dog may have, as well as dietary restrictions. Please let me know how your dog behaves around other dogs as well!! Please let me know if your dog has a tendency to be aggressive in any situation. I also would love to know your dogs favorite treats/snacks, toys, games, and walking spots! Also if your dog has a rain coat or would like an umbrella in bad weather, let me know!
A typical day
When I arrive at your house to greet your pet, I’ll start by giving them lots of pets (if they want to be pet), making sure they get to use the bathroom and haven’t had any accidents, and then playing lots of games with their favorite toys! If your dog has any favorite toys or activities, please let me know! If you leave a brush out I’m happy to brush/comb your pet for a little while too! Upon request I will take your dog to Carteret dog park, have a small birthday/adoption day celebration for your pet, or for a walk over 1hr, I could take your dog on a walk at Eagle Rock Reservation (only if you live close enough to walk there or your pet is ok in car rides)!

Sage is one of the kindest, most gentle, and loving souls I’ve ever met. I have watched them handle dogs of different breeds, sizes, and attitudes with grace. Out of the kindness of their heart Sage walks their own dog for several hours almost every day. He is a lover of all living things, saving small bugs from my pool, stopping to look at pretty flowers, and enjoying walks through nature. My three dogs absolutely adore him, even our pup with some trauma and anxiety. If you’re looking for someone who will go out of their way to make your animal feel loved, Sage is your best bet.
