My sister and I both work from home full-time, so dogs staying with us are rarely left alone. This allows us to keep a flexible routine and give each dog plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. Because we only host a small number of dogs at a time, we’re able to keep the environment calm and make sure every dog gets the attention they deserve.

Before a stay, it’s helpful to know your dog’s routine, personality, and any special needs. Things like feeding schedule, walking habits, medications, or anything that helps them feel comfortable are always appreciated. The more I know about your dog ahead of time, the easier it is for me to make their stay smooth, relaxed, and enjoyable.
Een typische dag
A typical day includes relaxed walks, outdoor yard time, sniffing adventures, and plenty of calm rest in between. I adjust activities based on each dog’s energy level and personality. Some dogs love to explore the yard and go for walks, while others prefer a quiet nap nearby — and that’s perfectly okay. My goal is simply to make sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and at home.

WFH One-on-One Boarding + Yard
Ervaring met huisdierenverzorging
Hi, I'm Rosie (Ruoxi). My sister and I both work from home full-time, and we offer one-on-one dog boarding in a calm, clean, and loving home. Your dog will be treated like family while staying with us. Our home has a large, secure fenced backyard, and dogs staying here are almost never left alone. They receive plenty of companionship, outdoor time, and attention throughout the day. We host only one dog at a time (or dogs from the same family) so every pup receives our full focus and care. Our goal is simple: every dog who stays with us should feel safe, relaxed, and loved — like they’re on their own little vacation. 🐾 A Typical Day in Our Home Our home follows a calm and structured routine, which helps dogs feel comfortable and secure. Morning Dogs start the day with time in the backyard to stretch, explore, and relax. Daytime While I work in my home office, dogs usually relax in the living room or enjoy spending time in the yard. Throughout the day we take regular breaks for outdoor time, interaction, and play. Afternoon Dogs often rest indoors, enjoy the sunshine outside, or calmly explore the yard. Evening After dinner, we usually go for a walk and then wind down for a quiet evening. Because someone is almost always home, dogs receive frequent potty breaks, companionship, and attention throughout the day. 🐾 Mental Stimulation & Play To keep dogs happy and engaged, we provide a variety of toys, including: • balls • tug ropes • plush toys • interactive play We also spend time playing simple games in the yard like fetch or tug-of-war. Even during work hours, dogs always have a comfortable and enriching environment. 🐾 Our Home Environment Our home is clean, safe, and dog-friendly. Backyard features include: • tall secure fencing (safe for large dogs) • double safety gates • a clean, clutter-free yard • direct backyard access from the living room for easy potty breaks Inside the home, dogs can relax comfortably and move around freely in a safe space. 🐾 One-on-One Boarding We provide true one-on-one boarding. There are no other dogs or cats living in our home, which allows each dog to receive full attention and helps avoid stress from unfamiliar animals. Many dogs feel especially relaxed in this calm and private environment. 🐾 Food & Health We carefully follow each owner’s instructions. Our general approach: • we feed only the food provided by the owner • we do not give human food • we keep the dog’s usual feeding routine We also provide: • filtered drinking water • safe food storage • refrigerator space if wet food needs to be stored 🐾 Communication & Updates We know how much owners miss their dogs while traveling. During your dog’s stay, you can expect: • at least two photo updates per day (usually morning and evening) • occasional extra updates when your pup is doing something adorable This way you can stay connected and feel reassured while you’re away. 🐾 Safety & Emergency Preparation To help ensure your dog’s safety, before boarding we collect basic information such as: • emergency contact phone number • an additional emergency contact • veterinarian information • pet insurance information (if applicable) This allows us to respond quickly if any unexpected situation occurs. 🐾 Meet & Greet For first-time stays, we’re always happy to arrange a Meet & Greet. These visits usually last about 15–20 minutes and allow: • your dog to get familiar with the environment • us to observe your dog’s temperament • owners to feel comfortable with the boarding setting Many owners find this helpful, especially for longer stays. 🐾 First Stay Tips To help your dog adjust more easily, you’re welcome to bring: • your dog’s bed • a blanket • favorite toys • treats Familiar scents often help dogs relax faster. These items are completely optional, as we already provide beds, bowls, and toys for different sizes of dogs. 🐾 Vaccination Requirement For the health and safety of all dogs, we require that dogs staying with us: • are up-to-date on vaccinations • are in good health 🐾 Best Fit for Our Home To maintain a calm and safe environment, our home tends to be the best fit for dogs that: • are friendly and comfortable around people • are not showing aggressive behavior • are not recovering from surgery or injuries • do not have severe destructive chewing habits • are comfortable walking on a leash • do not have significant indoor marking behavior • do not attempt to jump fences or bolt through doors 🐾 About Me I previously had a 100-pound German Shepherd who was part of my life for 10 wonderful years, from puppyhood through his senior years. Caring for him taught me a lot about understanding dogs at different stages of life and recognizing their needs as they grow. After he passed away last year, I realized how much joy and companionship dogs bring to my life. Hosting dogs in our home allows me to continue sharing that care and connection. I joined Rover in late January 2026 and have already had the pleasure of hosting several wonderful dogs and receiving kind reviews from their families. My hope is that every dog who stays here feels safe, relaxed, and loved, and enjoys their own little vacation while they’re with us. 🐾 Final In our home, dogs are treated like family. We look forward to meeting you and your pup. 🐾 Feel free to reach out if you have any questions — we’d love to get to know your dog.
Reviews

Rosie is the best dog sitter ever, I would highly recommend her. My dog mila stayed with her for 4 nights and I would receive multiple daily updates of photos and videos. She went the extra mile to make my Mila feel comfortable in her own home and also took her out daily to not only the park and other fun dog friendly places. Bonus, she has a huge yard for the dog to run around and play as well so they’re always getting outside time in addition to dedicated walks. You can really tell she has a true love and care for animals/dogs.

Ruoxi took amazing care of my girls! She followed every instruction perfectly and kept me updated throughout the day. As a very anxious dog mom, I don’t trust many people with my babies but with her, I never had to worry for a second. She sent plenty of photos, and my girls looked so happy in every single one. I honestly started to wonder if they’d even want to come home with me 😂 Thank you, Ruoxi, for taking such wonderful care of them!

Rosie was absolutely wonderful with Toby. I had just adopted him from my 89-year-old dad and had only had him for four days before I had to leave for a work trip, so I was honestly a little nervous. Rosie immediately put me at ease. She was very attentive—walking him, playing with him, and giving him so much love and care. What I appreciated most were the daily updates with photos and videos. It made a huge difference knowing he was happy and in good hands. When I picked Toby up, he was healthy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Rosie again. Highly recommend.

Ruoxi is the best! She watched our five month old puppy and was so attentive and loving to her. By the end of the day Duchess wanted to stay with her forever! I highly recommend Ruoxi!
