We have both had dogs since we were kids. Our little dude died unexpectedly in December of 2022 and the house was too quiet. We are hoping to share our love with your fur baby while you are away.

I was happy to have Ruby and Gordon look after Wilson for several days. He had a great time and I received several photos and a video of him enjoying his time with them. I liked that they look after only one dog at a time and look forward to booking with them again.
Ruby & Gordon accepted our request at the last minute. They were quick to arrange a meeting for Nipper. They are very welcoming, caring, and attentive people. Nipper had an amazing stay with them, enjoying great walks. We highly recommend them.
Ruby and Gordon clearly love dogs and enjoy hosting them. Henry took to them right away. They took great care of Henry while we were away and he came home relaxed and settled.
Our dog, Zoey, has stayed several times with Ruby and Gordon, with her latest stay for 11 days recently. Zoey is very comfortable with them. We have no worries about leaving Zoey with them, making our vacations more relaxing. They send us photos and videos of Zoey which we really enjoy. We have no hesitation about leaving Zoey with them for our next vacation

Schedule
Hubby is retired and I work from home 3-5 days a week. Hubby is used to long dog walks as our little dog had 3-4 per day. Our schedule is quite flexible.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We have baby gates and a crate if your dog needs to use one. No fenced yard but we have long leads in front and back yard and are steps away from a large park. We live in a quiet suburban neighborhood.
A typical day
We are close to 2 dog parks - 1 of them is fenced. The green belt is also steps away and we have a neighborhood park 2 minutes from home. We have a car crate if your dog likes car rides. Hubby is a runner and can also run your very active pup.
