Hello, my name is Rose. I just reactived my profile. I work remotely from home most weekdays. I am a huge animal lover. I grew up hanging out with cats and dogs. I find peace in spending time with animals and creating a safe environment for them. Due to recently moving into a smaller place, I am only taking overnight stays on a case-by-case basis and only allowing small dogs for daycare and boarding. I do offer walks, house sitting, and drop-in visits! I am more than happy to take special needs and seniors. I have cared for dogs that need special attention and have medication needs. I allow pets on my furniture and bed, but they must be invited and I will always reinforce whatever training you are teaching your dog. I do not currently own a pet because I love to travel and want to wait until I am more settled down. My home is located off East Madison. I live very close to the Washington Park Arboretum. I am an active person and enjoy taking long walks. I can wear out active breeds by running them. I offer: -Dog walking -Dog running -Doggy daycare -Home visits & check ins I would love to get to know you & your pet!

Rose totally rocked. She kept us updated and informed and sent some great pics of our kitties having fun while we were gone. I felt like she went above and beyond. We had total peace of mind with Rose checking in on our cats. Definitely going to ask Rose (if she’s available) or use rover for a cat sitter again in the future!
Rose is awesome! We were a bit nervous about leaving our pup for the first time - he's an extremely shy guy and takes a while to warm up to new people. However! During our meet and greet - he seemed comfortable right away, and when we dropped him off for an afternoon he had a great time hanging out in her yard. Throughout this process, Rose has been very flexible and communicative. She was also very keen to know Rocky's needs and understand his personality, which was a huge relief. We will definitely be coming back :)

Rose was amazing! it was the first time leaving our pup and I was nervous. Leading up to the stay Rose was very responsive. During the stay Rose sent lots of updates and pictures. Our pup also had some GI issues leading up to us being away and Rose was able to monitor and give our dog the meds she needed. Our dog came home happy and tired from her stay with Rose and I'd book again without hesitation.

Schedule
I work from home typically from 8 to 3pm Monday through Friday. I am able to flexibly take breaks and have afternoons and early mornings for walks.

Safety, trust & environment
I live across the street from the arboretum and can easily take dogs on long walks. I prefer to crate dogs or have them sleep in their own beds for bedtime. I will occasionally let a well behaved dog that I am comfortable with sleep in the bed with me (if they are allowed).
A typical day
I like to keep a calm atmosphere in my home. Lots of pets/cuddles, training reinforcement, long walks around the neighborhood and in the Washington Park Arboretum.
