I've always loved animals and have been volunteering at a local animal shelter for the past 4 years, caring for dogs and cats of all kinds. I also have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I know how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets. I've been pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family for years, and I treat every pet like they're my own. I'm also a Biology major on the pre-vet track, so I'm passionate about animal care and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away!

Since I have pets of my own, I provide care in my clients' homes rather than boarding pets in mine. I know how important it is to keep your pet comfortable in their familiar environment, so I'll follow their routine as closely as possible. Whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic medications if needed, or just spending quality time with them, I'll treat your pets with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own. My goal is for you to feel completely confident that your furry family member is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away!

Rita watched my cat while I was traveling. She did a wonderful job - sent me frequent pictures, was always timely and my cat was very comfortable with her. I will call Rita again every time I travel!
There's truly no one I'd trust more to watch my fur baby than Rita! She is so attentive, always sends updates/photos, and was so understanding of my dogs' many needs (pills, seizures, limp, heat sensitivity). I get really nervous allowing others, especially those I don't know, to watch over my baby doggy. She made me feel so reassured. My dog loves her too! Absolutely would recommend to friends/family.

Schedule
I'm currently working part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I'm available for drop-in visits and dog walking most weekdays (On Thursday and Friday it must be after 2 PM), as well as weekends. I always make time to give pets the attention, playtime, and care they deserve, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages while you're away!
