I'm so excited to meet your dogs. I've had a lot of experience with dogs of various breeds. I love being around them and give them lots of attention. No worries if your dog needs a special diet or other specific needs. I always follow the owner's directives, so your dog will follow the usual routine. I'm active and enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing fetch. I've owned dogs and have often looked after my family's and friends' dogs anywhere between a few days to several weeks. The hardest part is saying good-bye to the dog.

Safety, trust & environment
I only watch dogs at the owner's home. Safety is a priority at all times, play in and outside the home. Some dangers include unhealthy and toxic foods, household chemicals, and traffic.

Rita was amazing with our two dogs! She kept us constantly updated with pictures and notes throughout our two week trip. The dogs took to her immediately and gave us peace of mind. The proof is that they were happy and content when we returned home from our trip. I would and will hire Rita again for our future trips. I highly recommend her.
Rita arrived promptly at our meet and greet. She answered all my questions and seemed sweet with my dogs. I truly appreciated the pictures and text messages the day of the dog sitting . It was a full day from 10-5p and my pups were well cared for. When I came home, the house was spotless, just as I left it that morning and my dogs were sleeping happily in their beds. Thank you Rita. I will keep you on my list of dog sitters and use you again.
Rita was great watching our dogs overnight while we were out of town. She sent plenty of pictures and dogs were happy when we got back. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a house sitter for their dogs.
I was always glad to have Rita watch my dogs. And I think that anyone who uses her to dog-sit will feel the same. When we took long trips, I knew that they would be well-cared for and Rita would give them plenty of affection. She has a great rapport with dogs. She loves them and they feel happy and safe with her.
We met Rita at an out of town wedding a year ago February. We lived near by each other and struck up a a great friendship. She watched our mutual acquaintance’s dog, so asked her to watch our Jasper during our trip to Alaska last fall. Jasper is 9 year old Beagle/Jack/Dachsie mix. He has IVDD and Bilious Vomiting Syndrome. Not the easiest dog to sit for. So special diet, had to be carried up and down stairs no jumping on couches or beds. Follow the routine of walkies and treats. Plus he has a few quirks. Rita was excited to watch him with out batting an eyelash. Followed his schedule to the letter. (I have nosey neighbors). We count on her quite a bit as we travel frequently. Jasper loves her so much. She takes care of him as we would.
Rita is great with pets! She is one of the biggest animal lovers I know. She always approaches Cheddar with love and compassion and gives him his space when needed.

Schedule
I am currently retired from teaching, so I'm very flexible. I don't have any driving restrictions or obligations that would get in the way of caring for your dog.
