Animals have always been a passion of mine ever since I was a kid. My animal care experience begins on my uncle’s farm where I would help out with the chickens, the sheep and even the donkey. I loved taking care of animals so much that I became a camper at La Ferme d’André for 6 years. I also took part in the Youth Ambassador Program at the SPCA, where I got specialized training on dog and cat behaviour, and worked closely with special needs pets. I have been regularly petsitting since 2022. The animals I have taken care of include dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, mice, fish and rats. I have experience administering medicine, caring for seniors as well as puppies and kittens. I love getting to know each animal’s personality and needs!

I am eager to honour and respect every home that I visit and will happily follow any special instructions. Most pet owners I have sat for have requested daily pet pics, which I am more than happy to provide! I can also conduct house sitting tasks such as watering plants or opening/closing blinds at certain hours if need be.
Ratings and reviews
Rio is a very responsible, trustworthy person to care for your animal. I have used their services to watch my 2-year-old Morkie dog, who is typically nervous when she's around others. Rio was able to attend to her needs, give her hugs, and pick her up when needed. I felt at ease knowing that my pet was in good hands.

Schedule
I’m currently self-employed so I can dedicate the majority of my time to taking care of animals. I am available on weekdays, weekends, in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and at night as need be.
