Information Richard C. would like to know about your pet

All dogs are different, and some have special needs, like an allergy to certain foods or plants, other can have social or behavioral needs and can not interact with other dogs and can not be let off the lead.

A typical day

There are lots of dog owners in Lewes, we would take the dogs walking around the Lewes Priory ruins and the convent fields nearby, there can be as many as 10 dogs at one time. In my experience all dogs like chasing and fetching balls or sticks. We would also go for walks at the back of the brooks, open fields where it is a bit more overgrown.Or up the South Downs, plenty of space to run around.

Pet care experience

I have had dogs most of my life and now dog sit for family members. I have a fenced garden and easy access to the South Downs. I am recently retired, with lots of time on my hands, and would enjoy a dog to accompany me on my walks.

The dog seemed very happy after her short stay with Richard - he was also very easy to get in touch with both before and during the stay, was kind enough to send update photos throughout the day, and was flexible when we were running late to pick her up, so very good overall

Richard was absolutely fabulous. As soon as we arrived Lola dashed straight to him, she’s a fantastic judge of character. She was well walked and a very contented dog when we picked her up after her stay. Would recommend Richard to anyone needing their precious pooch looked after. Thank you xxx

After a horrific experience with another sitter from Rover I was quite anxious to leave my girls again but Richard couldn't be better. He is calm and patient and my girls didn't take long to trust him. He kept me updated so I could relax during my time away. I came back to 2 very happy girls. I'm very pleased with Richard, definitely would use him again.
