I have been brought up with dogs since I was around 10 years old. At the start of the Pandemic, me and my partner started volunteering with Guide Dogs for the Blind. We are fully registered with them and have boarded around 5 dogs (short term and long term boarding), some of whom have now qualified as fully working guide dogs. We also regularly look after friends and family dogs but we would only look after one dog (or one owners dog) at any one time. Me and my partner absolutely love dogs, they are part of our life. We look forward to hopefully looking after your doggie soon ☺️🐶🐾 Me and my partner work full time in the week and from an office so we can only board dogs at weekends at the moment or when we are off work/working from home. We are free for boarding at weekends and for dog walks on early mornings and evenings during the week. We have lots of experience of handling dogs. As part of our boarding experience of guide dogs in training, we have a baby gate that separates our kitchen and dining room from the stairs and living room (this is because most guide dogs in training are trained to not go up stairs) but we don’t have to use this if your dog goes everywhere ☺️ We have dog seat belts and harnesses for use for travelling with your dog in the car if they are able to travel. We like to go on nice walks so if your dog is ok with being in the car they will be spoilt with the outdoors!
