My experience comes from both working at a boarding facility & growing up with adopted and foster dogs at home! At the boarding facility in Minneapolis, I cared for dogs by feeding, administering oral medication, playing and exercising, and cleaning. This experience made me comfortable and experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and energy levels. At home, I have helped care for many rescues, adopted and fostered. I will still care for my parents’ dogs in the twin cities when they are out of town. From this, I am most experienced with caring for small and senior dogs. I am familiar with potty pads, belly bands, administering oral medication, and caring for dogs with sight and hearing difficulties. I do not shy away from dogs with special care needs! I am only comfortable administering medication orally, on the skin, or eyes, but not injected. P.S. If you have fish you need cared for while gone, I am happy to care for them in addition to your cats/dogs! I have a betta fish named Cutie that I adore and would be happy to feed your fish :)
