*Professional Member of IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals)* *Licensed & Insured* About Me: I am a full-time, stay-at-home mother, pet trainer, and long time lover of animals. I've owned animals and dogs all of my life. My family consists of myself, my husband, our two sons ages 12 and 18 (at college but visits often), and our well-trained seven year old labrador retriever named Stella. Stella is a trained therapy dog and visits local schools to provide comfort to staff and students. She has been well socialized with dogs of all breeds and ages and has her AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate, AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen Certificate, and her AKC Community Canine Good Citizen Certificate. Both of our children are great with animals and love when we dog sit. I specialize in puppy/pet basic obedience training, have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, and even exotic pets (snakes, hedgehogs, birds, lizards, etc.). In my spare time I enjoy walking/jogging/hiking and being outdoors. About our home: We have a large fenced yard with a small screened-in porch with a ceiling fan. It's the perfect setting for those pups who enjoy being outside, while staying cool. Additional Services: I also offer transportation for a small fee for those busy parents who need to save some extra time and might require a drop off or pick up for their fur babies.

Rachel is very responsive and considerate, she was amazing with Gogo! She really understands dogs and pays close attention to their body language to make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and never overwhelmed. That gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She kept me updated throughout the stay with messages and photos, and even worked on some training with him, like impulse control and waiting for his release cue before eating. She also brushed Gogo, which was such a thoughtful touch and something I really appreciated.
I will definitely use Rachel again for boarding and other doggie services. She took such good care of Hailey, who is a super senior. I loved the updates and pictures. Highly recommend!!
Rachel was easy to communicate with, patient when I showed up at the wrong time:) and was amazing with my dogs. Our initial meet-and-greet left me confident our 2 goldendoodles would be in a safe, organized, and loving environment. Daily pictures and updates showed happy, relaxed dogs. I'm so thankful to have found Rachel and highly recommend her - your dogs will be happy, and you will rest assured knowing they are safe and having fun.
Rachel was great with my dog Sydney. She provided regular updates/pictures and Sydney was very happy when I picked her up. She will be excited to go back and see her new friends!

Note About Boarding, Doggy Daycare, & Housesitting Rates: Boarding Rate applies to a 24 hour period. If you should need a late pick up outside of that 24 hour period, additional charges will apply. Doggy Daycare Rate applies to an 8 hour period. Additional charges will apply should you need more than 8 hours of care. Housesitting Rate applies to 8 hours overnight, two feedings per day, & one mid-day drop-in.

Note About Drop Off & Pick Up Times: In an effort to be as flexible and accommodating as possible while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all of the pups in my care, please be sure to specify no larger than a 15 minute window for all drop off and pick up times with your booking request. The option to specify your drop off and pick up times should appear in the "Booking Details" Section. This ensures that your dog is protected under the Rover Guarantee and that any extended care rates are applied properly.
Pets
A typical day
We always start and end our day with an outdoor potty break, but otherwise pups are able to freely move from indoors to outside as they please. I love to offer mental stimulation games by providing food puzzles, lick matts, frozen kongs, or short breakout training sessions on yucky weather days. In the summer, the pups enjoy playing in the doggy sprayground or chasing scented bubbles or the flirt pole around the yard.
