Hi there, I’m Rachel and I’m looking forward to checking in on your beloved dog/cat! I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, but currently own 1 cat and foster for the Hinsdale Humane Society. I love all animals, and I will take care of your pet as if it is my own. I also love to take photos, so I will definitely be sending you updates and pictures. For my cat guardians: I’ve had approximately 40 cat and kitten fosters in my care from various ages and temperaments. I also have experience administering basic medicine such as syringe, pills, creams and eye drops and even insulin injections. It’s safe to say that scooping a litter box does not bother me. Animal care is a priority in my life as I dedicate my free time fostering for Hinsdale Humane Society. I will respect your property and privacy. So that you can know more about me, I’ve lived in Lombard for 5 years with my husband. I work for a hospital and am a radiography student at College of DuPage. Rachel always does a fantastic job with our 7 cats!
Rachel helped us out last minute when my parents couldn’t help us towards the end of our trip. She jumped at the chance to help us and our kitties. I truly appreciate her love and care for our cats!
Rachel was amazing in taking care of my cat. My cat has epilepsy, so he requires medications twice a day, so I was really scared to leave him for a few days while I travelled. But she made sure to give him the medications, clean the litter box, and play with him with every visit. She was so caring and wonderful, I cannot speak more highly of her. She also left so many pictures and videos, and wrote a little paragraph every visit. It was so calming to see all the pictures, and as an anxious cat parent, I really needed that. I would recommend her to anyone, especially if you are an anxious cat parent or have a cat with strict medication needs.
It was my first time using Rover, and Rachel made the process simple and stress free. She took excellent care of my cats, and also handled my cat’s medication without any issues. I would definitely recommend and will be reaching out to her again in the future!

I’m a healthcare student, and I have school or clinical during most days. However, I’m typically flexible enough to care for your pet morning or night.
