Experienced, caring dog sitter, great local walks
I really enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel relaxed, happy and well cared for. I’ve had dogs of my own in the past and now look after dogs through Rover, and I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities. I enjoy daily walks, playtime and general companionship — whether that’s burning off energy outdoors or just relaxing together at home. I live close to Big Water and Gosforth Racecourse, which are both ideal for safe, interesting walks in a great environment. Your dog would stay in my comfortable home with access to a secure, fully fenced back garden for play and fresh air. I aim to provide a calm, home-from-home setting where dogs feel settled and part of the household. I’m very happy to follow your dog’s usual routines and any specific instructions, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I want you to feel confident that your dog is safe, content and well looked after while you’re away.

Pete is absolutely brilliant and a natural with dogs. This is the first time we have left our dog overnight and we were nervous on how he would settle. Our worries immediately disappeared as Pete welcomed Eddie warmly and he bonded with him straight away. He has a lovely house and garden and Eddie enjoyed spending time there and also going on walks. Thank you for a great time Pete!
Peter had met Tia before. She was pleased to see him and soon settled in. She had lots of l9vely walks with Peter and we would definitely like him to look after Tia again. Excellent communication and soon had Tia's measure.
Very friendly, very understanding when it came to delays, was happy to take with late notice, would book again
Peter did an excellent job with Castro, our 6 years old border collie. Castro is a reactive dog and thus some care is needed, however, Peter was very confident, showed knowledge on how to handle him and they both had great fun during Castro's stay at his house. Peter is highly recommend.
Pete was great, he sent plenty of updates and photos. Highly recommended!
Max had a great time with Peter, fed, entertained and walked, if Max could talk I’m sure he would tell me he wants to go back to Peter’s every weekend.

Schedule
I am mostly available at weekends, I don't have children so no commitments so I can give full attention to your dog! Happy to arrange any time for drop off and pick up.

I live in a safe dog friendly house with a nice fenced back garden and great local walks. Every dog is different so will treat every one differently based on their personality and needs. Whether that is long energetic walks and playing or just a snuggle on the sofa for those who just like to relax!
