Hello! My name is Paola, and I’m currently in school pursuing my career. I’ve been with Rover for about three years, but I’ve had many years of hands on experience caring for animals, including cats, dogs, bunnies, and birds. I chose to work with Rover because being around animals genuinely makes me happy. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and providing them with a safe, loving environment while you’re away. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your fur babies for a few hours or even a few days especially with someone you don’t know. I have one cat who means the world to me, and as a fellow cat mom, I truly understand the level of care, attention, and trust you want for your pets. I treat every animal as if they were my own and always provide daily photos and updates so you can feel comfortable, reassured, and connected while you’re away.

Schedule
Pet care is a priority in my daily routine. I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions to ensure consistency and comfort. Since I’m in school, I manage my time carefully and I’m home often, allowing me to provide frequent check ins, supervision, and companionship. I also send daily photos and updates so pet parents always feel informed and reassured

I tailor my care based on each pet’s needs and the service provided. In my home, I maintain a safe, calm, and pet friendly environment, following your pet’s usual routine for feeding, playtime, and rest to help them feel comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect their space and stick closely to instructions, ensuring pets receive proper meals, walks, litter box or potty breaks, exercise and affection. I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and comfort and I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is well cared for.

A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch starts early and includes some form of exercise, whether that’s hiking, riding my bike, or going for walks. For dogs, I provide daily walks ranging from 10–20 minutes, adjusting based on their age, energy level, and abilities. I enjoy keeping dogs active while also making sure they feel comfortable and safe. Cats also receive plenty of enrichment and playtime. To help prevent nighttime zoomies, I engage them in interactive play at least twice a day for a minimum of 15 minutes per session, using toys that encourage natural hunting behaviors. I always make time for affection, mental stimulation, and quiet companionship. I hope this gives you a better idea of who I am and how I care for pets.
