My work day hours are from 8-3. I am a middle school Science teacher. Currently, I am available after 3:00pm and on weekends but at the end of June, I will be available anytime during the day. I have July and August off.

I will make sure that your pet is safe at all times. I have two dogs of my own, so I would prefer to only care for pets at the clients home. I currently do drop in visits for one client and I always send her pictures and at least two videos during my drop in visit.

I think it is important to meet the pet with their family before working with them alone. Pets need to see that you know their family and it is safe to be with them. I also feel it is important to know any special routines that they might have that they enjoy or that are necessary for their comfortability. It is extremely important to know how to enter the home when taking a pet out for a walk. I always announce myself at the door and let the pet come to me, pets are very protective of their home and you have to respect that. If I am walking a clients dog, it is very important to know if their pet has any special needs and reasons why they could become aggressive. Some pets are really good in public when approached by other pets or people and some get extremely aggressive.
A typical day
I like to walk and explore with the dogs that I am taking care of. We often play fetch or play with any approved toys their family has set aside for them. I also like to talk to them and let them know how happy I am to be spending time with them. It gives them a sense of love, especially if they are missing their loved ones.

Olaiya did an excellent job with my 3 Jack Russell Terriers. I was in need of some daily walking etc. She was on time and went above and beyond. Spot, Bosco, and Trixie were very happy, and immediately warmed up to her kind energy. For sure I will be using her in the future for daily dog walking and sitting when we are traveling.
