Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Monique (Niqui for short) and I would love to look after your dog while you are away and/or assist with weekly walks. My husband and I currently have a rescue dog who has been with us for just over two years. We go for many walks, hikes and runs together as we are an active bunch. I have a flexible work schedule and can arrange to work from home during stays. I walk our dog in the morning, small walk over lunch and a longer walk/ park session in the evening, and can accommodate an additional dog during these walks. I have a fenced garden where the dogs can play and we try supervise all outside time where possible. We take our dog on 2 or 3 walks a day and are used to walking with multiple dogs as we also walk our neighbour’s dog weekly. Our dog, Maddox, is crated at night and we have space for the dogs to be able to sleep in separate areas of the house if needed.

Niqui is a really great help with our dog. She is highly reliable and trustworthy taking excellent care and attention, so we feel comfortable whenever he is on walks or being looked after. He is always excited to see both her and Maddox and they have lots of fun together.

Please let me know if your dog has any specific requirements and / or behavioural issues/ triggers. I love assisting with training, so let me know if there is anything you are working on with your dog. Please note that I can only take well socialised dogs as we have our own resident pooch.
A typical day
We love going on walks around the neighbourhood and through parks. During walks I tend to apply some structure (walking to heel, sitting before crossing roads etc), and mix this in with loads of sniffing and exploration. Finsbury, Clissold and Abney park are all within close proximity to our house. On weekends, we try go just outside London for countryside walks. Maddox and I enjoy canicross, if your dog would be keen to run with us do let me know!

Availability
I currently work from home most days. We walk or run mornings, midday and in the evening. We also have a fenced garden for play times and to go potty.
