Caring for your pet when you can't!
I am recently retired from a 27 year career with adults with disabilities on a 500 acre farm. I have owned 3 dogs and 1 cat as an adult and lived with dogs throughout my childhood. I would love to come care for your pet(s) in their own home while you are away or on vacation. I prefer medium or small sized dogs and a cat or two. I am discreet, clean and responsible. If preferred, I could also just drop in for a visit of feeding, playing with or letting out for toileting. I live in Richmond and would drive up to 20 miles to provide this service. I can provide character references as well as house/dog sitting refernces. I won't let you down!

I can come and care for your dogs or cats in their own home. I can sleep over or come a few times in the day, whichever works well for you and your pet(s). I could also just walk your dog about 3 times a day, depending on how far you are from my Manchester neighborhood.

Nancy did a wonderful job caring for our home and our three very different dogs while we were away. She was responsible, communicative, and great about checking in whenever she had questions. She carefully followed all instructions, and it was clear our dogs were well cared for and comfortable in her care. We came home to happy dogs and a house that was in great shape. We truly appreciated the peace of mind she gave us and would absolutely recommend her to others.
Nancy is the ultimate caretaker. She has house sat for us several times, and always takes great care of whatever menagerie of animals we have at the time (including at various points a large overly-friendly dog, two cats who don't particularly like each other, a parakeet, blue death feigning beetles, and/or Madagascar hissing cockroaches). She always leaves the house in great condition and communicates to us while we're gone. Think of Nancy as the aunt you wish you had - able to fill in responsibly whenever you need help, but without any judgemental commentary!
I'm responding to your request for Nancy C. (why not use her name?)... I've known Nancy for years and know her to be very responsible, that's why we asked her to dog sit for us. We are using Nancy again during the holidays because our dogs seem happy around her AND she went above & beyond the instructions we gave her when we previously hired her. She sent us a picture of them hanging out together in our family room, texted periodically about them and left our house in good order.

I am currently retired and have flexible availability.i am.able to sleep.over at your home or make daily visits. I travel a few weeks each month but am available quite often.
