Hi! I am Nadia, and welcome to my Woodland Paws Retreat, a peaceful nature sanctuary located in beautiful countryside on 5 acres of scenic area in Schuyler. I proudly serve Charlottesville, Crozet and surrounding areas. This area is ideal for nature loving dogs who enjoy walking on peaceful nature trails, running and chaising squirrels, playing and exercising. Senior dogs or puppies, playful or calm, shy or anxious- every dog is welcomed here with love and personalised attention. I love welcoming dogs into our home and making sure they feel relaxed, loved and happy during their stay with us. My priority is not only safety, but also ensuring every dog is happy and feels home away from home.When your best friend is in my care, you will have a peace of mind!

Nadia was the perfect person to watch my dog Angus while I was gone on a business trip. She took such good care of him, sending me lots of photos and videos showing he was happy as could be. I will definitely be using her again in the future!
Nadia was fantastic with our pup. Highly recommend, and would book again! Due to a family emergency, we had need for a last-minute boarding and our usual sitters were booked. Nadia agreed to take on our boy with zero knowledge of him. She was extremely detailed and thoughtful in her notes and questions prior to drop-off, kept in constant contact with updates while we were away, and took fantastic care of our pup. 10/10! Nadia does a fantastic job, going above and beyond to make sure our guy was loved and cared for.

Nadia is a truly remarkable sitter and we won’t hesitate to re-book our senior dog with her the next time we have a need. Nadia had incredibly thoughtful questions during our meet-and-greet that told me she had looked at our dog’s bio and was very experienced with dogs. Her home is an incredible place for dogs to run outside in the woods and our dog enjoyed it very much! Throughout the stay, she sent many updates and it was clear that our dog was getting tons of attention and an exceptional level of care. She is truly amazing - don’t hesitate to book with her!
Nadia is amazing! She automatically made me feel comfortable with her knowledge of animals and her presence. Normally I would be worried to leave my dog to go out of the country, but Nadia made it such an easy and pleasant experience. She sent pictures and updates everyday. She respected all of the care instructions I left and made sure Moose was well taken care of. She and her husband treated him like family and made him feel welcome and spoiled with love, which I so appreciated. She truly is one of a kind and Moose really enjoyed his stay with her. I will definitely be booking with her again for future trips and highly recommend her to anyone!

I am currently working from home, so my schedule is flexible, and I have enough time to enjoy taking care of your furry friends giving them love, attention, providing exercise, and tailor each dog unique needs.

Our home is located on five peaceful acres of wooded land, creating a quiet retreat for the dogs in our care where your furry friends will be on vacation enjoy walking, running and exercising in nature environment. We have large corral for dog's exercises. Our big backyard deck is fenced. One of dogs favorite places in our retreat is screened balcony with charming forest views, where they love to relax, watch birds, wildlife, and enjoy the calming sounds of forest. Many dogs love spending time here simply observing the nature. We have plenty of room inside where your friend can play and watch DOGTV channel with me and my husband. Your friend will be surrounded with an abundance of personalized attention and love. I am committed to keep communication open, sending photos and updates a few times a day. My goal is to give every dog calm, safe and loving environment so owner can travel with compIete peace of mind. I understand how important it is to trust to someone with your friend, and I truly appreciate your trust in me. Thank you!
A typical day
I will take your furry friend outside several times a day and tailor their activities according to their personality and energy level. Dogs can run and excersize in our enclosed outdoor area, explore and walk in a forest, watch squirrels, and listen to the birds. I will provide updates a few times a day with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your friend is happy, loved and safe. Inside our home we will relax, watch DOGTV, play with toys, and enjoy plenty of belly rubs. It will be cozy and fun, and your friend will feel completely at home- a "true home away from home."
