Attentive love while you’re away
Your pet will get all of my attention while in my care, I only work with one family at a time and don’t have other pets. I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since childhood along with taking care of friends, neighbors, and coworkers’ pets throughout the years before starting Rover. I really focus on making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away, whether they need a lot of cuddles and affection or need some space to warm up, I let them take the lead! Your pets safety is my number one priority and I will listen to their cues and body language to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable. I have experience working with pets of all different personalities and needs including senior dogs, and dogs with individualized needs.

Miriam was the best sitter I've had for Gus in years! During our meet & greet, she brought her own questions about my home and her stay which felt proactive. Before her stay with Gus, we chatted about last minute questions and details, and she was flexible and communicative with me about her arrival time. During her stay, she was extremely communicative with tons of detailed updates and pictures of Gus, and I really appreciated that if she had a question about something, she didn't hesitate to ask. When we got home, our house was immaculate - she even vacuumed! Highly recommend booking Miriam to stay with your fur babies!
This was our second time having our dog Mookie stay with Miriam. Mookie is usually a shy guy but immediately remembered Miriam. She is so great about making sure dogs are comfortable in their own time. It was such a relief seeing all the pictures and updates she sent us of him smiling, playing, and cuddling. We will absolutely be using Miriam on any future trips.
This is the second time Miriam has house and dog sat for us and she was just as amazing as the first time! She is a great communicator and sends photo and video updates. Our dog Rocky just adores her and all the love and attention she provides. She always leaves our home spotless and we always come home to happy pup! We will continue to use Miriam for all of our travel and sitting needs as long as she will have us :)
Miriam is amazing as usual. She is one of the few people I trust my dachshunds with! One of my girls had back surgery years ago, and Miriam is so nurturing and great at adhering to care instructions! She is really amazing with fur babies. Not to mention, she keeps you updated and sends the best photos while sitting your pups. Millie and Reese are so happy (and worn out) when they spend time at Miriam’s. She does a great job at keeping them active, engaged and SPOILED!
I can’t say enough great things about Miriam! She kept us posted every day throughout the day about Rocky’s eating, walks, playtime and sleep time. We received photos and videos which made for a stress and anxiety free vacation for us. We HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and loving sitter who will not only take care of your animals like her own but your home as well. We can’t wait to have her back again!!
Miriam was great! She did a 30 minute check in for my cat, Ruth, while I was out of town. She showed up right on time for the pre-check in meetup and was very attentive while I showed her the food and litter box. During the check in, she did a great job taking care of Ruth and sent loads of pics and funny updates. She also messaged me the day before the check in, just to confirm she would be there the next day, which was nice. I will definitely book her again in the future!

Schedule
I work from home full time with a flexible schedule so I can provide walks and attention during the day. Weekends starting Friday to Sunday are the best time for me to provide boarding, though I can also do weekdays if your pet is ok being alone for 3 or more hours on occasions in the evenings.

Safety, trust & environment
I have an unfenced backyard where your pet can explore with while leashed or have a long lead to sunbathe while supervised. I like to let pets get comfortable in my home and will take their lead to help make them feel like they’re at home away from home. If at your home, I will take your direction to make sure your pets have all of the comforts and care they’re used to! While sitting, I do not have pets interact with other pets they don’t know to keep everyone safe.
A typical day
A typical day will include walks around the neighborhood, being a furry coworker, and having fun with lots of toys! I love taking great pictures of pets to share with their families!
