Boarding Services: I live in a single family home with a large fenced in backyard as well as being within walking distance from two different parks. So getting your pups exercise and enrichment time will not be an issue. I have three smaller sized pups of my own that love to meet new pup friends. I limit the amount of dogs that I board at one time to ensure that all pups have adequate quality time and supervision to keep them safe. I have a pet door installed on the sliding door that leads to my screened in porch and fenced backyard so your pet can access the yard whenever they please. I also have escape proofed the fence with metal barricades along the bottom to prevent any escape artists pups from digging under the fence. Additionally, I have a gate installed by my front door to prevent any pups from escaping while anyone is coming in or out of the home. You can see photos of my backyard, escape proof fence, and front door gate in the photos section of my profile. I limit the amount of pets that I care for so that when your pets are in my care, they will have my undivided attention and love to keep them as comfortable as possible for the duration of their stay. I separate all boarding pups during feeding times in order to avoid any unwanted interactions. I also send frequent messages, pictures, and videos to keep you updated on meal times, medications administered, and fun activities that your pet is participating in. As a pet lover myself, I know frequent communication and being able to see my babies via pictures and videos while I'm away from them are a great reassurance that they are doing well. Drop In/Pet Sitting Services: My ultimate goal is to ensure that your home and pets are safe and well cared for while you're away. I will follow the care instructions you provide for not only your pet but also your home. I check that doors are locked and the home is secured upon arrival and departure of every visit as well as performing a walk through of the home to ensure all is well. Typical tasks preformed during drop in/pet sitting visits include: -Feeding/Refreshing Water -Potty Break/Walk -Scooping Litter Boxes -Medication Administration -Cuddles & Playtime -Cleaning up accidents or messes I offer complimentary plant watering and/or mail collection services if needed as well.

Information Miranda J. would like to know about your pet

I always have a complimentary meet and greet with you and your pets prior to booking any care services. This allows us to discuss your pets care needs in further detail and confirm that I'm able to meet all your pets care needs. For boarding services, I require proof of up to date vaccination status prior to scheduled services. Listed below are some examples of questions we will discuss during a meet and greet. *Any commands that your pet may know or any commands you may be currently practicing and would like to be reinforced. *Preferred walking gear (collar/harness/ muzzle/ etc.) *How do you correct unwanted behavior? *Any behaviors that I should be aware of (resource guarding, anxiety, dog reactive, human reactive, etc.) *Preferences when there is inclement weather. For example: does your dog need only limited exposure to heat or cold/ Is your pup not a fan of the rain or getting wet in general? *Does your pet have a bite history? *Is your pet up to date on vaccines and flea/tick preventative? *Are you able to provide proof that your pet is up to date on their rabies vaccine? *Does your pet take any medications that will need to be administered while in my care? *Does your pet require any special accommodations? *Does your pet have any medical conditions? If so, What are the symptoms your pet experiences related to the medical condition?

A typical day

I LOVE playing and loving on cats and dogs. I always enjoy a game of fetch or tug of war with the pups, as well as having a ball playing with laser pointers and wand toys with my feline friends. I have lots of energy myself, so I am able to provide plenty of active stimulation to expend your pets pent up energy. I'm also a huge fan of cuddling with your pets while we relax on the couch if they are lower energy and prefer lots of down time. I also enjoy working with dogs on basic training commands and rewarding them with positive reinforcement in the form of treats, pets, and praise. I am more than open to any suggestions pertaining to your pets favorite activities, toys, and methods of positive reinforcement.

Pet care experience

*Independently insured *Certified in canine/feline CPR and first aid *Continuing education in canine/feline development, behavior, basic training, and care requirements through FetchFind certification *Fear Free care approach to prevent and alleviate fear, stress, and anxiety in pets. *Professional pet care experience including medication administration ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a long history of loving and caring for animals. I have been around a plethora of animals for as long as I can remember and have cared for a countless number of dogs and cats along with having experience with reptiles (bearded dragons, chameleons, turtles, geckos), fish, birds, guniea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, and even having pet chickens and ducks when I was younger. I'm experienced in providing care services across a pets life span from as young as 8 week old puppies/kittens to dogs/cats enjoying their golden years. Aside from the pets I've enjoyed in my personal life, I have also worked for a number of pet care companies in the past providing services on a professional level. So, I am familiar with what it takes to provide quality and professional service in the pet care profession. I've yet to meet an animal that I didn't immediately love and I look forward to getting to know and care for your four legged family members.

I can’t say enough great things about Miranda. We are so grateful to have found her and for all the care she gave our Tux over the past year. He’s a shy outdoor cat but he feels so safe and loved with Miranda. We are sadly moving but I wish we could duplicate Miranda!

Miranda is fantastic, well attentive and kept my two boys happy. There was no “drop” from the cats when we came home, they were in good spirits and welcomed our return

Mirada. You are awesome and went above and beyond! Next year, around the last week of April, we will be going on another cruise vacation, but will be for an additional two day. We will let you know as we get closer. So, keep us in mind for next years spring vacation. Thank you so much! Robbi and Jessie
