Pet care experience

Active and loving pet parent.

I have cared for dogs all my life from puppies less than a month old to 100 pound dogs, from low maintenance to high maintenance and rare breeds. I have experience working at a dog training and boarding facility, and happy to train your pets during my time with them. I also have experience with exotic pets such as chinchillas, chickens, lizards, etc. I love chilling and playing with relaxed animals in their home and cuddling as well as very active lifestyle dogs as I love to hike, and everything in between. I also have provided end of life comfort care for senior animals to give them dignity in their last times and give them a happy experience. As well as medication treatment for pills, no experience in shots. You can trust me with your family as I will be sure to treat them as my own.

Safety, trust & environment

I have experience with reactive dogs and escape artists. If I’m in an unknown environment I make sure to take extra care and precaution about any possible what if situations and take in my surroundings alone without the animals before I take them to point out any pain points or any blind spots. I will never let any animal out even in a fenced in backyard unsupervised because I know accidents can always happen. My own dog at home is very reactive and I have a lot of experience on redirecting and heavy pulling, as he’s a 90 pound dog who likes to walk you than the other way around. Also working at a boarding and training facility I have experience in stopping fights and the signs to look out for before an attack is imminent. My entire life as a pet parent I have prided myself in recognizing those signs either on the street or at dog parks. I know how much it would devastate me if my pet was hurt even in an accident, that I make it my duty for you to trust me with your family in my care and never have to worry about it.

Miranda was amazing and will be booking her again. She visited my pet twice a day when I only asked for once and was a great communicator. She sent lots of pictures and I felt that my pet was well looked after with her. Thank you !

I want to recommend Miranda for pet sitting. She has cared for our dog several times over the past five years and has consistently proven to be very responsible. Miranda takes excellent care of our dog, ensuring she receives plenty of walks, attention and treats. She has also successfully administered prescription medication to her without any issues. In addition to caring for our pet, she has watched my coworker's house and cared for their elderly cat while they were out of town. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable caregiver for their dog or cat.

I’ve known Miranda now for about 4 years, and have trusted her with my baby Pyrenees (Apollo), and he just adores her. My dogs also friends with her cat, whom she’s had since she found him crying on the side of the road when he was 2 weeks old, and had to bottle feed to health (and is now the most loving cat I’ve ever met). Bottom line, Miranda’s basically a Disney princess, I’ve seen chipmunks cleaning her oven once. If you don’t want people like her walking your dogs…then you just don’t love your dogs man, I don’t know what else to say.

Schedule

I work full time from home in Dallas and inside a venue in Irving. My hours are really weird due to the industry I work in as it completely frees up my mornings and afternoons. I work in live entertainment and I am only out of my home at night, never later than 10pm. I also have a great team of employees that I am easily able to take off time with little notice in case of bookings that need more one on ones at home and do my work fully from home. I love my job and industry as I have a lot of flexibility and free time when most people work.

I would like to know what their regular routine is, their triggers, what makes them excited and happy, what stresses them, and their unique things that make them special. Our pets are family and they’re all wildly different. My approach to animals encompasses all of everything that makes them special.
