Pet care experience
Throughout my life I have owned a dog and have been responsible for a majority of their needs. I have owned big dogs and small dogs and both have been fun experiences. No matter how energetic or grumpy the dog can be, I have always been able to keep the energetic dogs active and make sure the grumpy ones behave. There have been many times that neighbors or family members have come to me to watch their dogs, knowing that they're in good hands. Not only have I had extensive experience caring for dogs, but I absolutely adore them. I have so much fun meeting new dogs and learning about their personalities, and what ways to make them feel comfortable with someone that is new to them. I am free all summer. However, when the Fall Semester begins, I will be attending college full-time. Despite this, I do intend to continue to provide my services in drop-in visits and walks. I will just need to work them into my schedule while taking classes.
Reviews

Michael took good care of my lab mix while I was away for 10 days. My dog was his usual happy tail wagging self when I got home. The house was in perfect order. I would recommend Michael for taking care of your pet for any length of time.
Mike can be easily described as a dog lover and I highly recommend Mike to take care of your pup. He has two very fun dogs (as of June 2017), a goofy black lab and a very sweet small german shepard. He has taken care of my beagle hound on several occassions and it was clear that my baby had a wonderful time. It's rare that my pup warms up to people so quickly but Mike has a special way with dogs. He's assertive, kind, and attentive to the needs of the dogs in his care and I know that if anything unfortunate were to happen to my pup, He's in good hands with Mike. Mike's home is also a real beauty as well. Nestled down cul-de-sac in Newtown, Mike has a large fenced in area that is a dogs heaven. There is plenty of room to run, play, hide, and even swim in the pool to cool off. At night, Mike sets up a great spot for the dogs, either in his room next to his bed or wherever the pup feels most comfortable. I highly recommend Mike to be your Rover go-to care taker. He's one of those care takers that is likely to become the #1 call for many.

Information Michael P. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences. Before sitting for a dog or dogs, I would like to know what time they are usually let out to do their business and when they are to be feed and how much. I would also like to know what their favorite toys are so as to provide a fun and active experience for them.
A typical day
In providing drop-in visits, the first priority would be letting them out to do their business. Afterwards, it would be playtime. This would vary per dog, but would include: fetch, a quick walk, a run-through of their tricks, and a lot of affection. Right before the drop-in visit ends, I would let them out one last time and fill their water bowls. In providing walks, I know of many local dog parks and hiking trails I can take them on. I will assure that the dog is always on a lease and will keep my eye on them at all times.
