I am a full time educator, so I’m available every afternoon/evening and some mornings, depending on when you would need me there! During the summer months, my flexibility increases dramatically as I plan on focusing entirely on the pet care needs of Rover clients.

In my own home, I have a fully fenced in yard with access to tons of grassy patches and shady areas, too. I live near a grassy common, which is perfect for a casual walk, or longer if needed! If I were to be caring for your pet in your home, I would follow your instructions to a tee. Whatever is needed to ensure a safe, comfortable, and happy stay while you’re away.

A typical day
Depending on what your dog needs, we can go on hikes, the dog park, or just a longer than usual walk. I bring my own dog to the Sheepsfold dog park at the Middlesex Fells Reservation, and on occasion, a hike in the woods.

I have taken care of pets my entire life! I currently have 2 cats and a dog in my own home, and one of them requires specific care. I’m patient, understanding, and fully capable of taking care of your pet like I would my own! I know that trusting someone with your furry friend can be difficult, but rest assured that I will do my very best and follow every detail to properly care for them while you’re away!

Michael lived next door to me for a number of years. He himself has two cats and a dog whom he deeply loves and cares for. He's up before the sun comes up to give the cats their special diet breakfast and Rosie the dog never misses her three or more walks a day. Mike cares for every four legged animal as he cares for his own. When Mike lived next door to us, we had three dogs and a cat. If I was ever in a pinch I wouldn't hesitate to ask Mike to run over and feed the animals or let the dogs out. He is one of the most sociable, trustworthy and punctual guys you will ever meet. He will treat your pet, belongings and house with the utmost respect. You'd be very lucky to have Mike care for one of your fur babies! - Alisha
Mike is the ultimate pet lover! He is super gentle and kind. He’s also detail oriented and always makes sure the pets are fed, clean, and happy. He is always surrounded by animals wherever we go. He has that magic touch!
Michael’s background with regards to care and affection to pets started at a young age helping to care for family pets. He still shows his affection and takes responsibility not only for his current household pets but extended family pets, as well. Michael consistently shows his caring and responsibility in his everyday life as a husband, farther, son, elementary school teacher and friend to many and again, a pet owner. I know he is a top candidate to become part of Rover.
