I am retired and organize my day around the best weather for dog walking. I am in a pleasant neighborhood which includes a large off-leash dog play area (Creston Park) and a natural area around a lake (Reed Lake). I can also drive to your neighborhood, if prearranged.

We have a regular dog that we care for in our home and she is not dog-friendly. So, we are not accepting other dogs for boarding except when she is not here. We are particularly patient and supportive with a dog that has separation anxiety, is high-strung or attention demanding. It would also be lovely to have an easy dog in my life sometimes!

A typical day
I like to focus on walks of 45 minutes to 75 minutes, with lots of opportunities for sniffing. I like to change routes so it is interesting for the dog. I live in a safe cheerful neighborhood, close to several parks. For walks of 45 minutes or longer, I can also drive to your house if you prefer.

Pet care experience
As a retiree, I can be very flexible to support your busy schedule. I am patient, warm and experienced with dogs. Dog walking is my preferred mode of personal exercise. I generally walk only one dog at a time. Our late Tibetan Terrier was high strung, so I am good with dogs who are a little different.
