Since childhood, caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. After recently relocating from Toronto to Montreal, I’ve continued doing what I love most — giving pets the tender, attentive, and loving care they deserve. Over the years, family and friends have trusted me with all kinds of precious pets, including tropical fish, rabbits, parrots, hamsters, kittens, mature cats, and dogs of many breeds such as German Shepherds, Pomeranians, Scottish Terriers, Dachshunds, and more! With 35+ years of hands-on pet care experience, I can confidently guarantee your furry (or feathered!) companion will be in caring and capable hands. I currently have a miniature Dachshund named Milo, whom I adopted from a Montreal rescue when he was just 7 months old — and now he’s almost 13 years younger! Milo absolutely loves making new playful friends and enjoys daily and weekly companionship. Your paw-purr baby will receive fully dedicated, attentive care including: • 15–30 minute walks every 2–3 hours • Plenty of cuddles, affection, and playtime • Careful attention to feeding routines and special needs • Frequent photo and video updates hourly and/or daily Being a true animal lover isn’t just something I do — it’s simply who I am! 🐇🐠🐕🦺🐢🐈🦎🐟🦜🐾

I take pride in maintaining a very clean and well-organized home—something friends and family would happily confirm. My bright 1-bedroom unit receives plenty of natural sunlight and features hardwood floors, along with soft plush toys to ensure a safe and comfortable space for your pets to play.

I cannot say enough good things about Melinda! She has been an absolute lifesaver when I had an emergency and needed someone to care for Pearl. I am grateful for her genuine affection towards Pearl and the peace of mind she gave me during a tricky time.
I highly recommend Melinda. She watched Pearl for a half a day and she loves her. Pearl is not shy at all and loves meeting new people, and she took to Melinda right away. Melinda was able to match Pearl’s enthusiasm and showed her lots of love and affection. She made sure Pearl got plenty of exercise by taking her on long walks and playtime around the neighborhood. Melinda went above and beyond by bringing special treats and toys to keep Pearl entertained. It gave me great peace of mind knowing Pearl was in capable hands with someone who could keep up with her lively and spirited personality. Melinda is a true dog lover and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again. Pearl gives her four paws way up!
Melinda has taken care of pets for most of her life. She has had cats and birds. She currently has a dog that she takes good care of. If I had a pet, I would definitely ask her to take care of it. J Ifill

Schedule
Working full-time from home allows me to offer flexible scheduling throughout the week, including weekends. I also provide optional pick-up and drop-off services for a small additional fee for added convenience. 🐾
