Loving Sitter For Any Furry Friend!
I've had and taken care of pets including cats, dogs, fish, and the occasional baby bunny or duckling that we would find in our backyard or in the creek next to our house growing up. I have experience working with multiple different breeds of both cats and dogs, so I am comfortable with all types of pets. I don’t currently have any pets, but my family has two Newfoundlands and four cats. I often dogsat for our neighbors dogs growing up, and in college I would also enjoy going to the humane society to volunteer to walk dogs and help out with the cats. I grew up with pets my entire life and have experience working at a doggy daycare as well as at PetSmart as a pet care associate, and love working with any type of furry friend!

I always like to do an initial meet and greet to get to know you and your pet a little bit better, as well as to go through things like the pets daily schedule/routine and where things like leashes, food, water bowls, treats, poop bags, etc. are kept. It is also nice to see how your pets interact with each other and/or me, as well as asking any questions that might be important during their time spent in my care, such as if the pets have any allergies or dietary restrictions, emergency veterinary contact information, any medications your pet might be taking, whether or not they are friendly with other dogs, if they are allowed on the furniture, or any other special accommodations they might need so that I can give your furry friend the best care possible!

Melena house sat our two cats for 7 days. They were both content and happy when we came home. No issues. And the house was clean. Highly recommend
I trust Melena unconditionally. She is reliable, hardworking, kind, and loving. She is also an excellent communicator. I have witnessed her with her own pets and others' pets and she is relentlessly wonderful with them. I could not imagine anyone better suited to care for your pet.

Schedule
I work part time as a gymnastics coach in the evenings and have a pretty flexible schedule. I am also willing and able to work weekends or holidays to look after your pet if their human is traveling for the holidays.

- Anything that you think might be helpful for me to know about your pet is something I want to know! Any medications they might be taking, allergies they might have, dietary restrictions, special accommodations they might need, etc., so that I can give them the best care possible. Having emergency contact information and the name and location of the local vet just in case of emergency is always helpful as well. I would rather have it and not have to use it, then have to use it and not have it.
