I am currently a law student and will also be completing a summer internship. With a flexible schedule and the ability to work from home two days a week, I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, feedings, playtime, and companionship. I provide care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stay in a familiar and stress-free environment while their owners are away. I make it a priority to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I always take the time to build trust and make them feel safe, calm, and cared for. In addition to meeting their daily needs, I also provide plenty of attention, companionship, and affection so pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. Whether it’s keeping an energetic dog active with walks and playtime or giving a cat quiet companionship and care, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I also make sure owners feel reassured by providing updates, photos, and clear communication throughout the stay.

I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was a teenager, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up around both dogs and cats taught me how to understand their different personalities, needs, and behaviors from an early age. Over the years, I’ve gained hands on experience with pets of all ages, and sizes. I truly enjoy creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for them. Whether it’s going on walks, playtime, feeding, giving medication, or simply providing companionship and affection, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet who is a part of your family. I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is always to make pets feel happy, and cared for while their owners are away.

Melanie has been instrumental in the raising and caring for my two dogs. She is careful, enthusiastic, and extremely responsible. I highly recommend her and feel any animal that gets her is lucky!
Melanie has helped me care for my fur baby over the past 2 years! From helping with walks, feeding schedules when I have to stay late for classes or just genuine care of him, she has been super helpful, honest, reliable, and kind! You could not trust a better person with your pet!! Melanie genuinely cares about all animals as if they were her own. You would be lucky to leave your fur babies with her:) I never worry when Teddy is left with her, which is super important. Could not recommend anyone more!!
Melanie is such a sweet and caring person. She goes above and beyond for people’s pets. My flight had been delayed and I couldn’t pick up my pup on time and she said there was no problem and was quick to help me. She is also very responsible and quick responses all the time. She will send pet updates in real time and my pets love her.
