Hi! I'm Meghan, and I've been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years. I specialize in dependable drop-in visits and house sitting for busy professionals, frequent travelers, and pet parents looking for someone they can trust to become a consistent part of their pet's routine. My experience goes beyond traditional pet sitting. I've: Worked under a professional trainer specializing in behavior modification and reactive dogs Fostered dogs through the Humane Society Raised and managed my own reactive Alaskan Malamute Cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities I'm currently working toward my professional dog trainer certification and love continuing the routines your dog is already learning. If you're working on leash manners, confidence building, polite greetings, or other everyday skills, I'd be happy to reinforce those during our visits. (Please note that I'm not offering formal training through Rover.) Every visit is tailored to your pet's individual needs and may include: 🐾 Walks or potty breaks 🧠 Playtime and enrichment 💧 Fresh water and feeding 💊 Medication administration (if needed) 📸 Detailed photo updates and communication ❤️ Plenty of love, attention, and individualized care My favorite clients are busy professionals who need reliable weekday care, including healthcare workers, military families, teachers, first responders, and office professionals. Scheduling & Care Policies • Meet & Greets: All first-time bookings require a meet & greet so we can make sure we're a great fit. If you need a more in-depth consultation or behavior discussion, we can schedule that as a drop-in visit. • House Sitting: House sitting includes overnight care and maintaining your pet's normal routine, but it is not 24/7 constant care. I may leave for scheduled drop-ins, errands, or appointments, but I do not accept pets that cannot comfortably be left alone for approximately four hours. • Cat Care: Cat drop-ins include feeding, fresh water, litter box scooping, playtime, and enrichment. If the litter box has gone longer than usual without being cleaned, I appreciate it being refreshed before your trip when possible. • Weather: Your pet's safety always comes first. If weather conditions make a walk unsafe, I'll substitute indoor enrichment, play, or other activities whenever appropriate and keep you updated. • Care Instructions: I love detailed care notes! A written guide or Google Doc helps me keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible while you're away. My goal is simple: I want you to leave home knowing your pets are safe, loved, and cared for as if they were my own. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family!

Meghan is wonderful. She cared for our 17-year-old cat, who requires medication twice a day and who had not been left for an extended time for over one year. Meghan was patient with her as she worked to gain her trust and "acceptance". Ultimately, Skittled returned to her routine, and all was well. We appreciated Meghan's consistent updates and photos. We highly recommend Meghan and have already booked another stay!
Meghan treats our pup like a KING! He always seems super comfortable with her! She takes him on lots of walks and give him all the attention. We love seeing several photos a day! Highly recommend!
Meghan has watched our dogs many times over the past year and a half. She is excellent for our dogs entering older ages with evolving medical & physical challenges. She’s very communicative & very flexible when it comes to the changes to care we ask of our dogs as their mobility changes. She’s awesome!
This was Meagan’s 2nd time staying with our boy Charlie and he loves her coming over to stay and play. We will definitely be using her again.
Meghan has been great as always! While I was traveling overseas, she took incredible care of Oli and kept me updated with texts about how he was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind being that far away. She went above and beyond, even taking him on walks around the neighborhood. Oli was clearly happy and well looked after the whole time. Reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. I’ll absolutely be booking her again.
Meghan did an excellent job! We felt very comfortable with her taking care of our older dogs while on an extended trip. We greatly appreciated her kindliness and care for them. And we loved the pics and comments she sent!
