Pet care experience
PhD Student | Custom Report Cards!
I have taken care of friends' and familys' dogs for over 10 years, and have always had a dog of my own. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and energy levels. I have trained my own dog to sit, stay, walk off leash, shake, and even to smile! I’ve cared for dogs with a range of needs, including medication administration, anxiety, and leash reactivity. I’m also an avid runner and love including high-energy dogs in my workouts (with your permission, of course!). Whether your pet needs active playtime or a calm, cozy environment, I adjust my approach to fit their unique needs. I prioritize communication, consistency, and creating an stress-free experience — both for you and your pet :) As a fun bonus, I send customized report cards (in addition to rover report card) for each client no matter the service! 🤠

Ratings and reviews
Meaghan is always so in tune with what my dog’s mood is and adjusts her visits accordingly

Meghan is amazing and extremely communicative. When I picked up Lola she had the biggest smile on her face (which is telling that she had a lovely time)! Will definitely book again.

Meghan did an amazing job on her first meet and greet and walk with the doggos - definitely got these pair a good exercising time and so much love. Thanks

Came early , played well with our dog and took him for a nice walk. Super friendly. Would definitely use again. Sent pictures and updates

Meghan writes the best reports! For drop-ins, she goes far beyond just making sure the pet is alive but playing with them, cuddling them, using their toys etc. I almost don’t want to review bc she is so great I think she’ll get overbooked.

Great report on her visit. Really took time with my pet

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I’m a graduate student with a flexible schedule, which means I can easily adjust to meet your pet’s needs! Just let me know what your pet loves, and I’ll try to make it work.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, I do everything I can to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I’ll follow their usual routine and am happy to accommodate any special needs, like anxiety, senior care, or training reinforcement. If they’re staying with me, they’ll get a true home away from home. My own dog is a rescue, and I’ve done everything I can to make him feel secure, loved, and supported, and I’ll treat your pup the same way. He’s super friendly and ranges from total couch potato to full-on zoomies. He also loves welcoming new buddies into our home. With my flexible grad school schedule, your dog will get plenty of attention, activity, and a front-row seat to whatever show I’m currently binging - whatever they need most! When I’m in your home, I’ll treat your space and routines with care and respect. You’ll get regular updates and cute pics so you can relax knowing your pet’s in great hands!
Pets
A typical day
A typical day with me depends on your pet! For high-energy pups, we’ll go on long walks or runs, play fetch, and head out on “sniffaris” or local hikes and park adventures (with your permission, of course). For more chill pets, I’m all about cozy couch time, belly rubs, and sunbathing. I always try to find the right balance of play, rest, and attention based on what your pet needs. If your dog is staying with me, they’ll be part of my daily routine (hanging out while I study, joining me for movement breaks, and getting lots of love and treats). We’ll practice fun tricks, play tug-of-war, try out puzzle toys, or just snuggle up together. They'll be my boss for the day, and I’ll make sure they feel happy, engaged, and right at home.
