My schedule is currently open and flexible! I am a recent UTK grad, and although I have completed my studies as a college student, I am continuing work on one of my projects, and most of my work is from the computer, and am also partaking in a field internship a couple days out of the week. I am taking a break from other forms of work, so I'm very available to help you with your petsitting needs. I am a morning person and would work well with 'early bird' pets, but can be flexible if a pet needs a late night let out, medication, or other attention during late night hours.

I share my house with roommates and their pets, so I'd prefer to watch your pet in your home unless I've gotten to know and built trust with your pet over several visits. I enjoy spending quality time with pets, including time together on the couch watching a show, napping together, or going out for strolls or to the park to relax outside.

Please let me know if you pet has any fears or anxieties (abandonment fears, food anxiety, etc.) so I can be the most supportive. Please inform me of any possible aggression in your pet. Also let me know if they have a tendency to be destructive so I can make sure everything in the house is under control when I am away.
A typical day
Depends on the pet, but I can provide a variety of experiences. If your pet is a couch potato and loves receiving affection, I can put on a movie and give your pet lots of cuddles. If your pet is high energy- so am I! I love to walk, and can even jog with your pet if they need the workout. I can also play with them and their toys and provide them mental stimulation via practicing commands, playing games like hide and seek, or getting them out to smell all those good smells.

I've always been dedicated to my pets growing up, and loved to meet with other's pets. While I'm relatively new to professional pet care, I've watched my family and friends' pets since my youth! I'm dedicated to communicating with pet parents while I care for their pets to make sure they have the best experience possible. I have experience administering oral (dogs) and transdermal/ear medications (cats).

Maya is friendly and accommodating. My dog is older and requires daily medication which she handled easily. She provided updates and made my time away worry free.
Maya has cared for my cat many times, and I can’t recommend her enough. She is attentive, responsible and truly loves animals. She communicates clearly and always goes above and beyond to make sure my cat feels safe and happy.
Maya has diligently watched my pets multiple times. They are trustworthy and competent. I have four cats that have different prescription foods and food amounts and medications. Maya handled all of it very well. Maya is very good at following directions exactly and takes great care of my pets. I hope that Maya will be able to watch my cats again in the future.
Maya has been our pet sitter for the last several years. She is very responsible and takes care of Dandi with love and care. Maya follows our instructions and goes beyond expectations because Dandi comes home clean, brush and happy. We are extremely thankful to have found such a responsible person that takes cares of Dandi as if Dandi was her own pet.
