I own my own business, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. My husband works from home, so there’s almost always someone here — your pet will never be left alone for long. I’m reliable, attentive, and take pet care seriously (with lots of love and cuddles included). I always walk dogs individually so I can focus fully on their safety and happiness. Walks, feedings, and visits can be scheduled to fit your pet’s routine. I’m happy to care for dogs in our home after a meet-and-greet with our dog, Mimi, our friendly bull terrier. At this time, we’re not able to care for cats in our home but would be thrilled to visit your home for drop-in kitty care!

Inside, dogs have free run of the house, while our cats are always kept separate so everyone stays happy and stress-free. Our dog, Mimi, sleeps in a crate, and I’m happy to follow whatever routine your pup is used to. I offer walks and drop-ins at your home, but I don’t provide overnight care in clients’ homes. You can always expect attentive care, clear communication, and lots of love for your pet.

A typical day
While your dog is with us, they’ll have a great time and feel right at home! We have a fully fenced yard for safe off-leash play — perfect for chasing balls, tossing a frisbee, or just sniffing around with our friendly dog, Mimi. We’re also just a short walk from Dash Point, so depending on your dog’s energy level, we can do anything from long, scenic walks all the way down to the beach to slower, relaxed neighborhood strolls. Whether your pup loves to play hard or prefers a mellow pace, we’re happy to match their vibe and make sure they’re comfortable, happy, and well cared for.

Multiple walks, all day access to our fully fenced yard and all the love and kindness your dog can take make us the perfect pack pick for your dog's stay.

True story: my brother Matthew was visiting in-laws several states away from home where he found a sickly stray kitten. He vowed to rescue this kitten and needed signed paperwork from a vet to allow air travel, but it was the Sunday Matt was flying back home and no vet clinics were open. Matt made several calls and eventually tracked down a reluctant vet, persuading them through sheer force of will to meet at a clinic to administer the shots and complete the travel paperwork. The kitten came home with Matt and became a happy, spoiled, beloved member of the family. I know this love of animals and tenacity would make Matt a fantastic, trusted caretaker for other furry family members.
As long as I have known him, Matthew has always had a household full of dogs and cats. He is truly an animal lover. His presence commands respect and obedience. Pets of all kinds love him and in turn he loves them. Matthew is a responsible person; he will do what he says he is going to do. We have used him on occasions with little notice and on occasions well planned out. The quality of care is always the same - excellent.
