Experienced cat sitter! I've had cats in my home most of my life. All the years of my childhood plus my years at grad school and my working years too. We've been on Rover for about 2 years and have cared for about 50 cats so far!

Matthew was great with our cat Arlo who was a newbie in terms of boarding. Arlo was apparently very comfortable in Matthew’s home. Excellent communication and daily pics and videos. We would highly recommend Matthew and his family as pet sitters and will definitely contact him again if the need arises.
Upon researching and reading the excellent reviews of Matthew’s care in lodging cats i decided to book my little guy with him. Matthew took care of my car for nine nights and prided daily communication and pictures. He kept me apprised of my cats adjustment to his “vacation home” and he did just fine. He was able to enjoy looking out the windows, he found a place to nap in one of the bedrooms and watched tv at night with Matthew and family. He was provided the same environment that he is accustomed to at home. I was very unsure of boarding my cat as this was my first time going on an extended trip and not have a family member available to take care of him. Without hesitation I would send my cat to Matthew in the future. He was very happy and content when I picked him up; not nervous or anxious as he can get if he is with someone else. Thank you, Matthew, so much. You put my mind at ease and allowed me to relax knowing my cat was in good hands and a pleasant home environment.
Matt is a wonderful caregiver and takes excellent care of our little fur baby, Erebus. Looking forward to our next pet sitting with Matt.

Schedule
I work from home so I am usually around during the day to keep your furry friend(s) company. We've boarded cats many times and we have a box of toys for felines who love to play.

We have a 3 bedroom apartment in Jersey City Heights, NJ with plenty of spots to lounge and plentiful sunbeams shining into our windows, which are perfect for basking. Pets that reside with us are always well cared for and relaxed. Our home is a peaceful one.
A typical day
Don't worry, your furry friend will get plenty of attention and exercise. We also have two gentle, loving, and attentive teenaged adult humans to pet and feed and tend to them.
