Mary was stellar! We could tell right away Duke was in good hands. He became apart of their pack and enjoyed their daily adventures. Mary also sent daily updates with photos, which we enjoyed.

Mary was wonderful! Remy seemed to have a great time and we received many pictures of him throughout his time. We would definitely use Mary again.

Mary took great care of Maverick while we were away. She gave plenty of updates as well. I highly recommend her.

We could not have asked for anyone better. Mary sent regular pictures of how our Sansa was doing. We will definitely keep her as our regular sitter.

Schedule

I work part time from home and have a flexible schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs. This flexibility lends itself well to constant care required by puppies, the elderly and other special souls. I rarely host multiple families of dogs at one time (might be some overlap on pickup/drop off days) and prefer to focus on a quality experience for the dog over multiple bookings. If you make a request and I tell you it’s not a good fit at this time, it’s because I have carefully considered the safety and happiness of another client. Your pet will not be left unattended for extended periods of time during the day. I know firsthand how stressful it can be to find quality pet care and pride myself on being dependable and responsive.

Safety, trust & environment

I take the responsibility of caring for your animal seriously. I live in a rural area on a road with very little traffic. We have two horses, chickens and two dogs on our 14 acre property. I do not have a fenced area and use tie outs for porch lounging and hand walking for potty runs. Your pet will have access to the main floor of my house (no stairs) including furniture (if allowed). The ability to change the floor plan also allows to separate animals if beneficial.

A typical day

A typical day involves choring around the homestead, while my dogs supervise. We also love to go for longer road/trail walks in addition to all the other yard tours that happen during the day. The toy box is stocked with entertaining options and Kermit is ready to play. Sunbathing and wildlife watching are some of my older dog’s favorite passive pastimes. We have a porch that overlooks the property and everyone seems to enjoy hanging out and watching the chickens forage. Something for everyone. My husband works from home several days a week and is a helpful second set of hands to divide and conquer.

Let me know if your pet needs any accommodations or specialized treatment. I want them to have the best experience possible while in my care. PSA: Ticks are a common occurrence and we are in the heartland of Lyme disease. Current tick protection is highly recommended to protect you and your pet.
