I have the animal care experience your pet needs while your away! I am new to Rover.com but I'm not new at pet sitting. I've been independently boarding and fostering dogs for to 11 years now. I've joined Rover because I want to take on more bookings and build my client base. I will treat your pet with the love and attention they deserve. I started working with animals in 2010. I worked as a KENNEL ATTENDANT and RECEPTIONIST in a Veterinary clinic in Granville Ohio for 3 years. I also have ANIMAL HANDLING TRAINING working as a Veterinary Assistant giving evaluations, administering medications and vaccines. I gained a lot of EXPERIENCE WITH PUPPIES AND SENIORS! My toughest and most rewarding job was during the 4 years I worked at the Licking County Humane Society as an ANIMAL CAREGIVER. I cared for dogs/cats of all ages, sizes and temperaments. At LCHS, most animals in my care were extremely sad and scared, being that they were in a shelter and missing their homes. My loving touch and gentleness would make them feel safe and secure. I provided daily care such as feeding, walking, bathing, medicating, training, microchipping, and much, much more!

Mary was an outstanding dog sitter! She loved our dogs and treated them like they were hers. Our dogs loved spending time in her nice backyard and were in very good hands while we were gone for 2 weeks. Communication was great and we have nothing but good things to say about her. Highly recommend! Will definitely use her again.
Mary was wonderful with Luna. It was the first time I have left her with someone and Mary treated her like part of the family. I would highly recommend her.
I couldn’t be more pleased with how Mary took care of my two dogs. I could tell when I picked them up that they had bonded with her and that she had taken good care of them. I will definitely use Mary again.

Mary is the absolute best with our dog. Our dog is a handful but Mary always takes great care of her :)

Schedule
I currently work for a church in Newark, Ohio. I have flexibility with my hours and duties. I do most of my job remotely from home. I can rearrange my work schedule to be home during your pet's stay with me. So, my time away from the house would be very minimal, if any at all.

** I like to pet sit for 1 family at a time** ** I can care for up to 3 dogs from the same household per booking ** ** (For the safety of your pet) Unless it's requested by the owner, I prefer not to take clients dogs on outings ** Your dogs safety is always my top priority, I am very aware of all the dangers that could happen. These protocols help ensure your dog has a safe boarding experience. I do not like risking their safety. I know how precious your pet is to you. All dogs have free roam in my house. I allow them on furniture and beds. My dog goes potty outside 3-5 times a day. If your pet is in my care, I will follow your guidelines with food, walks, medication etc. I live in Heath Ohio with my 5-year-old daughter, London. I have no cats. I own my house which is located in the Southgate neighborhood. There are nice sidewalks to take them on a walk. I have a completely fenced in back yard so your pet will be secure. It's a ranch style home with no stairs, which is nice for the older animals. My daughter absolutely loves animals. She is very kind and respectful to their needs.
A typical day
I love to interact with dogs all throughout the day. I love to snuggle with them. I never get tired of petting. I take dogs on walks around my neighborhood. The Newark Earthworks are within walking distance. It We LOVE taking family night walks.
