Hello! My name is Mars (he/him) and I'm excited to start petsitting in the area! I have been taking care of others' pets since high school, and formerly worked as a Veterinary Technician Assistant at the University of Minnesota. I also have plenty of experience with special-needs and senior care, so if you have a pet that needs a little bit of extra love I would be the perfect fit! I know your pet is a member of your family, and I will do my absolute best to make them feel safe and loved while you’re away.

Over the years I have stayed with many pets in their own homes, and believe this is usually a better option to boarding because your pet(s) will be more comfy and I will be able to help them maintain more of their usual routine.

Went to Spokane Washington for one week and left my pit Rottweiler mix Benson with Mars. Mars did a very good job of taking care of Benson and he was very comfortable and well taken care of..
Mars is a friendly and upbeat dog walker for my Macy and Sandman. He is responsible and caring and I trust my dogs with him plus I think they have a lot of fun. Mars is prompt and responsible and I have had him dog walk more than once.
I wholeheartedly recommend Mars as a petsitter/housesitter! We have a 12-year-old lab with thyroid and joint issues who takes medication twice a day as well as an active young cat who likes to spend time both indoors and outdoors. Mars has conveniently come to our home during our past two vacations so our pets can stay in familiar and comfortable surroundings. He understands that our pets are (spoiled) members of the family and treats them like they are his own; he goes above and beyond routine care to include treats, walks, playtime, and abundant TLC! In addition, it has been reassuring to have someone we trust in our home, and we have returned both times to clean dishes, laundry, bedding, etc. We all love Mars, and having him here greatly reduces our stress level while traveling!
There is no one I have met who is as responsible, honest, kind, and above all, as much of an animal lover, as Mars .
Mars is a caring and compassionate person who has always loved and protected all animals. He as looked after many dogs and cats over the years and has a real connection with them. Mars is very responsible and honest and would do a wonderful job of watching over your pet as if it was his own.

Schedule
I'm available most weekends for either dropping by and/or walks, or staying with your pet(s) in your home if you'll be gone overnight or for the weekend.

- I want to know what your pet's routine is so I can continue that even when you're away! What their favorite toy is, what route they like to take on walks, and (especially) where you keep the treats! Also letting me know if they have any triggers (don't like other dogs, scared of loud noises, etc.) can help me try to avoid those situations to keep them safe and happy.
