PAWer Couple!
We are a caring, active couple who absolutely love animals and will give your pet our full attention and affection—since we don’t currently have pets of our own, your furry friend will be the center of our world while in our care. You might wonder why we don’t have pets now; we both did—Spot, who lived a long, joyful 18 years across three countries and loved going on multiple walks a day, and Moka, whose favorite thing was searching for animals on her walks and playing with bunnies. We also enjoy daily walks ourselves and, living close to Memorial Park and Buffalo Bayou, we take full advantage of the trails and nature—perfect for pets who love the outdoors.

Great experience with them both! They were very nice and adaptable. They were able to facilitate early drop offs and pick ups. They gave a lot of pictures and updates for my dog. She’s blind and they brought in a gate to block off stairs. Above and beyond!!!
Marlene & Gabriel were very dedicated and responsible sitters and you can tell they love dogs a lot! :) My dog Max had a very good stay, they took care of him really well, and administered his daily medications too. 10/10 would recommend! :)
The sitters were absolutely wonderful with my puppy! They were caring, attentive, and made sure she felt comfortable and loved. I could tell she was happy and well taken care of. Highly recommend!
Definitely divinely led to this beautiful couple. We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience for our fur baby. She was so happy when we picked her up! She was so well loved and cared for. I have to say that Marlene has done an amazing job taking care of my dog while I was out of town. Not only did she make sure he was walked regularly and well looked after, but she truly showed how much she loves animals, especially dogs. Her affection and dedication were evident in every detail—from the daily walks to the extra time she spent playing with him to keep him happy and loved. She’s a loving person with a true passion for animals, and she always goes the extra mile to ensure they’re thriving. I wholeheartedly recommend Marlene to anyone needing a trustworthy and caring person to look after their pet. My dog couldn’t have been in better hands!
Leaving my Husky, Rio, in someone else’s care is never easy—he’s energetic, headstrong, and full of personality. But from the moment Marlen stepped in, all my worries vanished. She didn’t just dog-sit—she connected with Rio in a way that only someone truly special can. Marlen treated Rio like family. She took the time to understand his routines, his quirks (including his dramatic howling concerts), and his boundless need for adventure. Whether it was long hikes, mentally stimulating play, or just quiet cuddle time, Marlen gave Rio everything he needed and more. I received thoughtful updates filled with pictures of Rio smiling (yes, Huskies do smile!) and videos of him happily trotting alongside her or just lounging peacefully. When I returned, Rio was calm, happy, and clearly bonded with Marlen. It was obvious he had been cared for with love, patience, and genuine joy. It takes a phenomenal human being to handle a Husky with such grace and dedication—and Marlen is exactly that. If you’re looking for someone who will love and care for your dog as if they were her own, Marlen is the one. Rio and I are beyond lucky to have found her.

Schedule
Pet care fits seamlessly into our weekly routine since between the two of us, we work from home 2–3 days a week, allowing us to give your pup plenty of attention throughout the day. We’re flexible with drop-off times—early morning or the night before—and are happy to discuss boarding options to best suit your needs.

A typical day
A typical day includes lots of playtime, cuddles, and plenty of attention! If the pup is up for it, we’ll go on multiple walks throughout the day to get fresh air, explore the neighborhood, and burn off some energy. I love keeping pets engaged with interactive toys, games of fetch, or simple tug-of-war. Whether it’s playtime outside, a relaxing stroll, or just hanging out together, I make sure each day is full of fun, love, and care.

- It’s important for us to know your dog’s routine, energy level, and any medical needs or allergies. I also like to know how they behave on walks, around other dogs or people, and if they have any triggers or fears. Feeding schedule, favorite toys, commands they know, and any quirks or habits are helpful too—anything that helps me give them the best care possible and keep them happy and comfortable while you’re away.
