Hello, my name is Maria and I’m thrilled to help you with your pet-sitting needs! I have always loved animals and have found Rover to be a great way for me to share my knowledge in animal care while also doing something I truly enjoy. I have dogs of my own, have been pet-sitting with Rover for several years, have always had dogs as pets, and have even raised a litter of five foster pups until they were old and well enough to be adopted. In my spare time, I’m a mother, a wife and am studying to be a nurse—taking care of others is not just something I do for Rover, it’s who I am. People often describe me as trustworthy, reliable and loving. I go above and beyond my client’s expectations by giving them updates every few hours so they can relax while on vacation without having to worry about their pet. And if I see any behavioral or stomach issues, I am happy to provide feedback and advice. My husband and children are also dog lovers and though I will be the main caretaker, they will also chip in with love and attention. I’m also very communicative and will be sending daily photo, video, and text updates so you know how much fun we’re having together. I know it’s difficult to be away from our furry pals so I’m here to offer you peace of mind while you’re away!

Maria wins!!! She recently stayed in our home and watched our two dogs while we were away. She sent pics and was incredibly flexible & communicative the entire time. When we returned, our home was in perfect condition. I HIGHLY recommend.
Maria very kindly was able to take Cooper at the last minute for the day. She also sent him home with a toy and a treat which was very sweet. I think he had a good time! I didn't feel like I had a lot of clarity about how he spent his day/interacted with the other dogs there and I was surprised her husband took him on a walk since I didn't know anyone else would be caring for him.
María was super nice & easy to communicate with. She sent random pictures & video which eased our minds while we were away! Will rebook with her. Thank you Maria ♥️

I work from home so I’m available full time to care for my furry guests . Lots of attention and love for them during their stay .

A typical day
A normal day would include time for play, time to relax at home with me ,plenty of walks and time at the dog park. My home has a grass fenced yard in the back and we are only a drive away from a pet-friendly parks . I can’t wait to hear from you!
