I have 1 small dog, Stevie, who I love dearly and I have more love to give! Stevie is 6 and I recently said goodbye to my 16-year-old pup, Kiwi, so I'm comfortable with a range of age care and ability. I have patience and compassion for your pet's quirkiness and trauma responses, and respect for their boundaries. I can't wait to meet them!

[Note: I am taking a break from in-home overnight care at this time to have some space to grieve my senior pup I said bye to, but feel free to inquire and I may be able to assist on a case by case basis] My dog, Stevie, mostly likes to keep to herself (she becomes playful with time) so does best sharing space with dogs who don't mind the company but don't need furry playmates. I never let dogs off leash unless explicitly given permission by the owner, and I don't have a yard but live in a safe and walkable neighborhood and can take them out frequently if staying with me. At your home, I will always respect any house rules you have. On walks, I'm careful to pay attention to my surroundings and I am comfortable handling dogs who are reactive to other dogs and animals.

All my reactive dog parents can understand how truly impossible it can feel at times to find someone who is comfortable handling an anxious and sometimes explosive dog. And because of this, I only let a few close family members handle my dog. But that wasn’t an option when I got sick…so thank god for Mandy! We did a meet and greet at our local park and they took the time to get to know Ludo, his triggers and temperament, and was incredibly respectful of our positive reinforcement training. They truly have a gift for animals and I cannot thank them enough for taking good care of my guy. So if you have a reactive dog and need someone you can trust to show up with compassion, patience, and professionalism…choose Mandy!
Mandy was great! Bento was sad to see her go and watched out the window. Came back tired and happy. Would book with Mandy again.
i had to leave my little guy for an extended time and while i felt worried about it, when i got back my fears werre 100% put to rest. he was so comfortable and happy when i returned from my trip. it was clear that Mandy had taken incredible care of him and gave him even more attention and love than was required. Mandy is a considerate, kind, and wonderful caretaker that i would highly recommend to anyone who wasnt the very best care for their pup.
