My kiddos wake up at 6am, go outside to potty while I get ready for the day. They come in and get their breakfast. Several babies get special diets. I am currently not working. So we all hang out and go outside 4-6 times a day depending on the weather. Dinner is at 7pm. And then put one last time at 10on before heading upstairs for the evening. Goodnight!! I can do medications and injections too!!

Information Mandi P. would like to know about your pet
I want to make sure they are comfortable with me and may crew. I also have cats in my home so I want to be sure they are ok with feline friends. I always want to know about feeding and potty schedule as well as if they need any medications. I also ask for a copy of their vaccine record for in case of emergency.
A typical day
I like going for walks if the pet does well on leash and has a harness to wear. And I love playing fetch with the dogs. I’ll also give plenty of sofa cuddles too.

Pet care experience
I have had pets all my life and grew up on a farm. I have experience with all sizes and breeds of dogs and am comfortable with cats and small mammals. I’m currently in school to become an Accredited Veterinary Practice Manager. I recently just completed my Certified Veterinary Assistant certificate and passed my exam to become an Accredited Veterinary Assistant. I always make time for my kiddos at home. I am also able to work as a veterinary technician or technicians assistant. I have over 6 years of experience in veterinary medicine. I moved to San Antonio five years ago from Zapata, TX and live right off 1604 and Universal City. I’m walking distance from Kitty Hawk Middle. I am married to my high school sweetheart. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Dermatomyositis when I was 7 and recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Both conditions make it difficult for me to work in an office because I can not predict when I will have a bad day. On bad days I have less mobility than I normally would but am still able to go on walks with my Puggle, Eukie. Walking helps with my conditions so I make sure to take Eukie on daily adventures around the block. I also work with special needs animals. I had a cat who required insulin injections twice a day. I also have a cat with some brain damage. And my puggle, Eukie, has a partially torn cruciate and takes medications for that too. Eukie also recently was diagnosed with diabetes. He takes insulin twice a day and requires a special diet and constant care. Lastly, I have Tyson. He is my big boy who has seizures. He also takes medication twice a day. Thankfully everyone is in good spirits and does well with their treatment. I am comfortable medicating both dogs and cats and giving injections. I am also working on my grooming services. I can give baths to dogs and cats. And am learning how to do basic shave downs on both as well. Animals are my passion and I’m starting to work with Rover as a means to help pay the bills while I finish my degree to become an Accredited Practice Manager and maybe even get into Veterinary school one day if I get the courage!

Mandy and her husband were fantastic! Our dog and cat loved them. My cat needs two pills a day and can be fussy with it, and Mandy was able to give him his pill with ease. I always received a ton a pictures of our fur babies which was amazing. I definitely recommend Mandy!!

Although Mandi could not keep my pets for the requested days, she cared for my babies and ensured they made it to the next sitter. I'm grateful for that. Her communication was constant.
