Throughout my life, I have cared for and pet sat a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, livestock, birds, and reptiles. I am comfortable caring for animals with different needs and personalities, and I treat every pet in my care with the same patience, compassion, and attention I would give my own. Since we already have two dogs of our own, we are currently at our home’s pet limit and unfortunately aren’t able to accommodate overnight stays for additional pets. I would be more than happy to provide drop in visits and care for your pets in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. I’m happy to stop by for feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication, or simply some extra companionship and attention while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own environment.

I would highly recommend Malia! She is very responsible, her communication is fantastic, and she truly has the kindest heart and a huge love of all animals. Our dogs absolutely fell in love with Malia on day one.
Malia is amazing with dogs. She has watched our 2 dogs for the last several years on many occasions whether it be day watches/walks/feedings or long weekend overnight stays. She gives them lots of attention and cares about their well being. She is a die hard animal lover and has raised all sorts of animals at home with her parents. She also chose on her own to become a vegetarian for the last 8 years solely based on her love of animals. I would highly recommend Malia for this role with Rover. The dogs will love her and so will their humans.

Schedule
As a stay at home dog mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for your pets. My husband is currently stationed at Dyess, so we’re still fairly new to the area and I’m excited to get to know the community and meet some new furry friends along the way! I’m currently taking online classes, which gives me the flexibility to plan my days around pet sitting visits, walks, playtime, and whatever care your pets need. Since I’m home most of the day, I’m able to give your pets plenty of companionship, attention, and care while you’re away. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and would love the opportunity to make them feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

- Before caring for your pets, I want to make sure I understand their individual personalities, routines, and needs. I’d love to know their feeding and potty schedules, exercise needs, favorite activities and toys, any medications or health concerns, and anything that may make them nervous or uncomfortable. It’s also important for me to know how your pet interacts with people and other animals, what commands or routines they’re familiar with, and what helps them feel safe and comfortable. I’m happy to follow your instructions closely and maintain their normal routine as much as possible. My goal is to make your pets feel comfortable and cared for while also giving you peace of mind while you’re away.
