When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are safety, trust, and making sure the pet feels comfortable and secure in their own space. I follow any instructions closely, stick to their routine, and make sure they have everything they need. Whether it’s fresh water, food, bathroom breaks, or just some love and playtime. I’m always respectful of your home, clean up after myself and your pet, and always double-check doors, gates, and anything related to the pet’s safety before leaving. I also send regular updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Any additional tasks that you need, you can count on me to do them.

It’s super helpful to know each pet’s routine, favorite toys, and any special needs or quirks they might have! I like to know their feeding schedule, how they do around other animals, and what helps them feel calm or happy. The more I know about their personality and habits, the better I can make them feel safe and loved while you’re away!
A typical day
When I take care of pets, I love making sure they have the best time ever! We’ll go on walks, play fetch, have cozy cuddle breaks, and maybe even do a mini photo shoot if they’re feeling cute to send to you. I always make sure they get plenty of love, play, and attention so they feel happy and comfortable while their owners are away.

Hi! I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, from family pets to farm animals, and I truly can’t imagine life without them. I have hands-on experience from years in 4-H and two years working at a pet daycare, where I cared for pets of all sizes, personalities, ages, and needs—including administering medications and managing group play safely. I completely understand how stressful it can feel to leave your pet in someone else’s care. That’s why I’m here to make the experience easier for both of you. I’ll treat your pet like family, give them the love and attention they’re used to, and keep you updated so you can feel confident and at ease while you're away.

For 10 days, Madelyn did a wonderful job taking care of our 6-year-old short hair tabby cat. Every day I would receive an email of Madelyn checking in and checking out of our house. Also, I would receive daily Misty's Rover Card with cute pictures. I highly recommend Madelyn to take care of your pet.
Madelyn kept my sweet Checkers company while I was away, which minimizes his anxiety. Upon my return, his bowls were washed and he was not stressed out. My instructions were followed to a T. And I received plenty of pictures in his Rover card. Madelyn is very responsive through the app, which made my life easier. She grabbed packages for me as well.
Madelyn is the best with Lady! She takes extra special care of her. It gives me great peace of mind knowing she is always in good hands!
