Pet care experience
Springfield/Eugene Pet Sitter
Hi! I’m Madeline, I’m 28 & a lifelong animal lover with a calm, caring nature and a knack for making pets feel safe and loved. With years of experience in customer-focused roles, I understand how important trust and communication are, especially when it comes to your furry family members. Whether it’s playtime, walks, snuggles, or just keeping their routine steady, I’m here to make sure your pets are happy and well-cared for while you’re away. You can count on me to treat your pet like one of my own — with lots of love, attention, and patience. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and I’ll always keep you updated with how your pet is doing. I can’t wait to meet your best friend!

Ratings and reviews
Madeline has ways been great with our fur babies. We had used her for several day-sits when our pup was "little". Our first overnight was worry-free because Madeline does such a good job taking care of our dog and cat. She left the house clean and tidy. Would highly recommend Madeline.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
Pet care is woven into my daily life — I care for my own cat and rabbit every single day, so things like feeding schedules, litter boxes, playtime, and grooming are second nature to me. I build my schedule around making sure my animals feel safe, seen, and loved — whether they’re mine or yours. Fitting your pet into my routine feels like second nature, not a task.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
My pets are indoor only. My cat does not get along with other cats or dogs so I keep her safe and separate. The way I would keep your pets safe is listening and communicating you and your pets needs. I’ve opted to not board pets because it would not work in my homes dynamic.

A typical day
Keeping pets happy, active, and emotionally fulfilled is a big priority for me! Depending on your pet’s personality and needs, here are some of the fun activities I love to do: • Playtime tailored to their energy level — from tossing toys and chasing feathers to tug-of-war or puzzle games • Walks and outdoor time with plenty of sniffing, exploring, and breaks at their pace • Cuddles and quiet time for pets who enjoy affection and bonding • Enrichment games like treat hunts, lick mats, or teaching simple tricks to keep their minds engaged • Gentle grooming or brushing sessions (if they like it!) to help them feel cared for and comfortable • Bunny playpen time or supervised free-roam (for rabbits or small animals) to give them a safe space to hop and explore
