That could mean long walks, backyard fetch, tug-of-war, brain games with treats, or just some good old-fashioned belly rubs and snuggles. If they love car rides, I'm happy to bring them along on errands (with your permission, of course). I also try to keep their routine consistent so they feel comfortable and relaxed while you're away.
